Ninah? Mistress? 2

Nine POV Everyone was silent after what Mason said. I'm sure they really are thinking if Mason was really interested in men. They had confused look on their faces. I better do something to clear the misunderstanding. "Thank you for caring for your men, Alpha. If you say so, I'll do as you wish" I spoke. Mason closed his eyes and sprung up, slamming his hands on the chair. "The war minister will start gathering more information about the north. You all should prepare to send about 800 men each as you've discussed" "Yes, Alpha!" They chorused. "We'll go with Nine's plan. If anyone should be the spy, It'll be me" he spoke. "What?" "No way!" "We can't let you do something dangerous, Alpha" I didn't say a word since that's what Mason has said. His word is final. He frowned and gave a cold glare. "Are you disobeying my words now?" He asked, as the tone of his voice changed. They all flinched and lowered their heads. "No Alpha!" One thing about Mason, he's trying not to be a tyrant like his father. He has a hot temper and weird personality but doesn't show it. That's why he has few people around him. However, there's no way I'm letting Mason go into the enemy's camp alone. In the future, the Northerners became ally with us but it took a long time before it happened. It took about five more hours to talk about the war preparation and it's finally late in the evening. "The meeting is over! Once your men arrives, there'll be training before moving towards the north. It's better to start the fight before they do else, we'll be at disadvantage" "I agree Alpha. They'll think we are weak but won't know what's coming" "See you all at the next meeting. Let's go Nine" he said. I followed him behind. We walked straight to his office. He didn't say a word to me on our way. Immediately we got to his office. I closed the door behind. Just as I turned, I saw him standing right in front of me. The documents I was holding all fell on the floor. I bent to pick them but he didn't let me. Why is he acting this way? Pinning me to the wall? Don't tell me Mason is attracted to men. Were Alex and Mason hitting it off in the last life? Alex doesn't have feelings for Mason yet because I came too early. He fell for me first. "What are you thinking about Nine?" He asked. I snapped back to reality and gulped down the emptiness in my mouth. "Alpha, did I do something wrong?" I asked, trying to act more like a man. "Didn't I say to call my name when we're alone?" He reminded. I looked away from him. "I'm sorry alph... Mason" I corrected myself. "Don't act careless like you did earlier. I can't let my assistant die because of me" he said in a soft tone. "I'm also your eradicator. That's my job" I almost yelled at him. He moved closer and touched my hair. Is Mason teasing me now? What's this tingling feeling I'm getting? I've never been touched by him in my first life, I can't understand it. My heart is beating rapidly. My body is yearning for his touch. I can feel my n*****s getting hard. I'm not wearing a bandage, I better be careful. "You're my assistant. You're different. You're also in charge of the preparations. You probably shouldn't go to the war with others" he said and wanted to go to his seat. I grabbed his hand. "Please. Let me at least go! I want to protect you, alph... Mason" I said. He lowered his head and looked at me grabbing him Oh no! I'm going to get killed. I let go of his hand quickly but, he grabbed it instead. He pushed me to the wall again and placed his huge hand around my neck. His body leaning on mine. "Mason?" I called his name softly. "I don't know why your body is calling out to me. I can't be in any relationship with a man. Apart from making me sleep, refrain from touching me. I don't want to make a mistake and end up doing what I don't want to" he said. Of course, I don't want him to make such mistake also. I blinked repeatedly and nodded my head. He let go of me. "I'll leave you to talk to the war minister. Damian will be in charge to pick the captains for the teams" "Understood Alpha" I bowed. "Mason" he corrected as he sat on his leather chair. Sometimes he acts weird, sometimes he's normal. There's no need for me to call his name. Even Alex has limit to calling his name. "Understood... Mason" I said and left his office. I sighed and touched my neck. It was hurting. I'm sweating profusely, since it was intense in there. "Did the alpha grab your neck?" Alex asked. I flinched. I didn't know he was standing there. "It's fine" I said. He moved closer and touched my neck. "Your skin is just like a lady's skin, just a little touch and it's already bruised. I'll get your a bruise cream" he said and wanted to leave. "Alexander!" Mason called his name from inside. Alex frowned and let out a sigh. "I'll bring it to your room later. You should have a bath, your skin looks so pale" he said. I need a long bath. I'll agree with that. I walked away without saying anything. Alex entered the Alpha's office. Just while I walked towards the Eradicators chamber, I felt some cool breeze. It's coming from the lake. I wished I could use the lake now. I wish no one would come out. I wished no one would see me like Gomez. The palace looked silent. Some of the maids went to work at the south mansion for the moon guardian candidates. If I stayed a little in the water, I won't get caught right? I looked around one more time before heading to the lake. It was clear and has the reflection of the half moon. But it's bright a little but, not bright to see one's face. I took off my clothes and hid them. If anyone sees the eradicator uniform, there'll be problem. I dipped my legs into the water and shivers went down my spine. It was so cold. I threw my whole body into the water and loose my long hair. I washed it and roughly wrapped it around my head. I sighed deeply, enjoying the water. It really is different when using a bath tub. It suddenly became dark. The clouds covered the moon. "I knew I'll find you if I came here, Ninah!" I heard a voice and jerked up. Only Gomez knew me as Ninah but that's not Gomez's voice. I turned and saw Mason. Wasn't be supposed to be with Alex? Why is he here? I started floating backwards away from him. He didn't care, he entered the water with his clothes and swam towards me. "Stay away! Who are you?" I asked. "Me? You're in my palace, yet you ask such questions. I should do the questioning, who the hell you?" He asked with anger in his voice. He could kill me right now. I don't want to die yet. I looked up and saw the clouds was still covering the moon. I swam closer to him. "My name is Ninah, Alpha" "So you finally know I'm the Alpha. Rumour has been going around that you're my mistress, you must feel so good about it" he said. I secretly rolled my eyes, covering my chest as I stood close to him. If I stay with him, he won't see me as a threat. "I don't want to be the Alpha's mistress. It's just a baseless rumour" "They said you're also beautiful. But, I can't see the beauty" he said. "I'm really not beautiful, Alpha. Like I said, they are all rumours" I added again. His hands grabbed my bare waist. He pulled me closer to himself and the clouds finally stopped blocking the moon. Just a glimpse... He caught a glimpse of my face. "N...Nine?" He called. I flinched. "I'm Ninah" I reminded him. He smirked. "I'm going crazy that I'm falling for a man. You really look like him" he said. "Then, think of me as him. If I were Nine, what would you do with me?" I asked, placing my hand on his chest. I swear, I don't know what I'm saying. What am I expecting? "What would I do with Nine?" He mumbled and touched my jaw. His thumb rubbed my lower lips. Huh? Is he going to kiss me? Before I was done asking myself, he kissed me. His lips were glued to mine. I tried to stop him but, he didn't let go. I bit his lips and he finally let go... Or not. "Stop holding back Nine" he said and continued kissing me. He didn't mind his bleeding lips. He kissed me hard as our tongues danced in each others mouth. I didn't even have the time to breath well. He left my lips and went to my chest, kissing it. His hands were still around my waist. He held me tight that I think he's going to break me. I pushed him away from my body. "Alpha... please calm down. I'm not Nine" I reminded him. "You are..." He mumbled, with his sleepy eyes. Every of my touch makes him dizzy. "I'm Ninah. Don't forget that" I said and gently hit my hand behind his neck. He fainted into my arms. I sighed deeply and touched my lips. "What the heck?!" I gasped. I heard a rustle in the bush behind. I turned to see if anyone was peeping but I found no one. What do I do with Mason? What if he wants Ninah dead or tomorrow, he finds out I'm Ninah? I dumped his wet body on the bank side, dressed up and left the lake. Forgive me Mason but I won't be taking you to your room today.
