Trip To The Temple!

Nine POV

Ninah? Nine? If I were to go to the temple to make a prayer, it'll be for Gomez to never find out I'm Ninah.

Standing before him as Nine was making my heart race fast like crazy. I'm scared. He's a s*x maniac, I better find a way to escape.

"If I find Ninah, she'll be arrested for investigation, sir. Have a good night" I said and turned to leave.

Gomez frowned and slipped his hand into his pocket. His gaze were piercing me as I left to my chamber. As soon as I entered, I closed the door and window and made sure no one was able to enter inside or even see through the window.

I took off my shirt and looked at my chest in the mirror. As I removed the bandage, I saw red marks on my chest. It looked painful but I can bear it. I pulled my pants and entered the bathroom, soaking my body in the tub. The water was warm but I still prefer bathing in the lake.

I won't be able to go there for some time because of Gomez.

I endured bathing in the tub and started thinking about things that happened in my past life and things that are happening in this life. I looked at my palms.

Mason slept because I touched him. In my past life, he only saw me as a pest and slave so I never touched him. I didn't even have the opportunity to stand close to him.

Apart from that, he touched my lips when I was asleep. I wanted to wake up then but seeing him close to me, touching my hair, face, lips... I couldn't grasp what he's thinking. Could he be interested in men just like Alex, that's why he never want Leah close to him?

There are a lot of things I need to learn about Mason. Now that I'll be able to massage him to sleep, I guess I'll find out more things. I grabbed some shampoo and wash my hair.

The bathroom had men stuff in it, including condoms. Some eradicators can't control themselves and need to mate with some ladies to ease themselves.

I'm never going to need it, since I'm a girl. Even when wolves go to heat, they need to release themselves by laying with female wolves.

Anytime Mason was going to heat, he using call some ladies from outside the palace, cover their faces to make sure they do not know it's the Alpha.

"When do I get my wolf? Will I get it tomorrow?" I asked myself. It was full moon tomorrow and also a new week. When they are going to hunt and fill their starving stomach, I better start making preparations for war.

The next day, just like I thought, he gave me another request. I stood before Mason, wearing my uniform. He was wearing a black trousers and a white shirt, leaving his chest bare open. He's so handsome. He looked like a god.

"Will you be able to do it?" He asked.

"Of course, Alpha" I nodded, snapping back to reality. I was drawn by his perfect body.

He's entrusting the candidates for the next moon guardian to me. Not just me, two people were behind. They were my seniors but why is he putting me in charge. I fear this will make me have a lot of enemies.

After the ritual, we'll be taking the ladies to the mansion at the south. They'll reside there till the war is over. In my last life, the war lasted for three months because Mason surrendered. This time, we'll plan well and be ready. I can't tell how much it'll take.

"Alpha, Nine is new and he's weaker than us. Why are you entrusting the task to him?" One of them asked. I see. They are not ready to accept the fact that I'm the leader of this mansion. It always happen when boss gives mission at the assassin house, that's why I decided to work alone.

Even I wanted to ask but, I don't want Mason to get upset with me.

"You two have your wolves already, while Nine doesn't. When you two are hunting, Nine will take care of the ladies. Do you have any objections?" he explained and asked coldly.

They shook their heads. I looked at Mason and locked eyes with me.

Fuck! He was staring at me.

"I won't disappoint you, Alpha" I bowed.

"Good!" He replied.

The other two left while I started making preparations for the war. I met with Damian and other people related to the foreign affairs.

It was evening already and Mason sent for me. Alex was with him. He waved at me and I waved back, with a smile.

Sometimes, I forget I'm supposed to act like a man.

"Nine? You should prepare and leave for the temple immediately. The car is ready. A bus will be at the temple to transport all the ladies at once"

"As you wish, Alpha" I replied. I turned to leave.

"I'll come in the evening for the ritual but make sure you come to my chambers once you're back" he said.

Oh, I almost forgot. I'm supposed to make him sleep.

"Yes, Alpha" I bowed and left. The other two men left with me in the car. I just looked outside, through the window. The city was looking quite peaceful but no one can tell what lurks around when it's dark. The mall, huge companies, restaurant... everything was so busy but peaceful.

"Hey Nine!" One of them called my name. I looked at him the other was driving, while I sat at the back seat.

"Huh?" I replied.

"We are almost at the temple" the one who didn't like me said.

"Sure" I replied.

"Do we get to touch the candidates? I heard they are all bursty and beautiful" the one driving bit his lips.

"They are not just candidates, they are the precious daughters of different Alphas. If you want your head chopped off, go ahead" I said from behind. He flinched and started shaking.

"Forget I said anything" he said.

"We are your seniors, don't forget that!" The other one yelled.

I nodded in submission. I don't even want to drag any more conversations with them anymore.

We finally arrived at the temple. It was huge. It looked like a small palace.

We were allowed in. The gate parted and we drove in.

Immediately we pulled over, we alighted. It was my first time in here. It looked so sacred and... Attractive. I can feel energy filling my body. I felt refreshed, like I should even lay on the dirty floor.

I hope I wasn't the only one feeling that way. When I looked at the other two, they were already flirting with the female priests.

"Hi, I'll be leading you to the priests office. He has been expecting you" one priest said to me. She blinked repeatedly, trying to seduce me. Well, I get this is not a normal holy temple. Even priests were allowed to f**k because they also go on heat.

"Thank you" I said, not falling for her seduction. She looked disappointed as she led me to his office. The other two were clinging to the priests and that was escorting them.

Before we reached his office, the priest was already outside.

"Ah, welcome" he greeted from behind. Dave and Sid stood behind me and greeted the priest in response.

"It's nice to see you again" he said. I raised my head and realised he was talking to me.

He really knows I'm a girl. But I hope not.

"We arrived on the Alpha's order"

"I've gotten his message. The war... You'll escort the ladies back after the ritual, the ladies will lead you to a room where you'll stay till then. Enjoy your stay" he said. We bowed again and wanted to leave.

He grabbed my hand and smiled at me. What the hell is that holy smile for?

"Not you, I need to speak with you" he said.

Fuck! He knows. I freed myself from his grip and followed him into his office. He helped me sit.

"Why do you want to see me?"

"Why are you hiding your identity?" He asked, neglecting my question.

"I don't mind what you're talking about" I turned my head away. His hand brushed my hair as he removed the rubber from it. My hair fell on my shoulders.

"Huh?" I gasped and stood up immediately.

"What is the meaning of such act? How could you..."

"If you're a man, you should have no problems with your hair down, just like the alpha. Tell me, are you a spy?" He frowned.

I give up. I can't win an argument again a priest.

"Do I look like spy?" I asked in reply and he shook his head.

"You seem different. You can actually become a candidate for the moon guardian, I sense power in you" he said.

"Just the same way you sense power in the other girls. I'm sorry, I'll pass. I only want to protect the alpha with my life and nothing else. The moon guardian candidates are supposed to come from the alpha family, as for me, I'm an orphan"

He lowered his head and moved closer.

"I'm sorry. I thought I'll be able to help you"

"You can help me" I said. He furrowed his eyebrows, asking me how.

"Keep my secret of me being a girl. You're the first person to know" I said. He smiled and handed me my rubber.

"I'll do as you say then. I'll protect your secret. In return, always pay me a visit always and let me know when you see your wolf"

"Sure. I'm leaving already" I said and walked towards the door. I paused when I realised I supposed to ask him..

"How do you know I'm a girl?" I asked.

"Your hands are small and your fingernails are pretty. You're too handsome to be called a man. If you were a normal girl, I would've fallen for you" he said.

Well, glad I'm not a normal girl, I don't need anything called love now. I also do not need to become the moon guardian to be with Mason.

I only want to be his eradicator.
