I was in my office at the mansion, lost in my thoughts. I knew I had to talk to Alma, she must be very confused now. Except I didn’t know what to tell her, I didn’t want to flood her with my concerns.
I exhaled sharply and looked out of the window, trying to clear my mind at the look of the grey sky.
A knock on the door attracted my attention, bringing me back from my contemplation.
“You may come in,” I said and Marion and Anita entered the room and took a seat in front of me.
