Chapter 35
My mother finally woke up a week after I got back at Saint Joseph's hospital. My father still hasn't said anything and I didn't try to talk to him again because it's pointless. He only cares about his work. Me and my mother always come in second place. When my mother woke up she was confused about where she was and what had happened but on the bright side, her memory seems to be intact. Doctors were afraid she might suffer from amnesia but so far she doesn't look like she has it. However she does have a long way to go until she is fully recovered. She is going to need lots of physical therapy in order to gain her strength back and walk again. Right now she is having physical therapy sessions three times a week. For now it's only exercises lying down to help her start moving again but I
