Lisa and Rosé walked out of the restroom and went to the bar to order a hard drink. After they got their drinks, they went back to Momo and Seulgi.
“Where’s Jennie?” Rosé asked the two.
“She said she’s going to greet the others.” Seulgi said as she shrug.
“Oh, thanks.” Rosé said and walked away with Lisa.
“I hope you’re doing fine Lisa!” Seulgi shouted and Lisa turned her head and gave her a small bow.
“Ugh, now I feel bad for leaving her.” Rosé said.
Lisa ignored Rosé and focused on finding Jennie. Even though the bar was full of people getting themselves wasted, she saw Jennie at the other end of the room, sitting alone with an unreadable expression on her face while she was on her phone.
“Found her.” Lisa said without removing her gaze at Jennie.
“Where?” Rosé asked.
“Follow me.” Lisa said and they walked through the crowd until they reach where Jennie was seated. “Hey Jennie!” Lisa said with fake enthusiasm. She actually suddenly felt like going back to their dorm since Seulgi ruined her mood with a simple question. But she had to show Jennie she’s having fun since she insisted her to come to the party.
“Oh hey.” Jennie simply smiled, Lisa and Rosé sat beside Jennie. “I’m really sorry if I’m not as hyped as everyone else. I told you I’d rather sleep in our dorm.”
“Come on, don’t say that. You’re making me feel bad for insisting you to come with us.” Lisa said.
“I’m trying to mingle with the others but they just seem uninterested so I sat here instead of tiring myself.” Jennie chuckled.
“No one will talk to you if you don’t have a drink in hand. Drink mine, it tastes good.” Lisa gave her glass to Jennie for her to drink.
“I don’t really drink, I’m sorry.” Jennie sheepishly said.
“Come on, this will be the last time I will insist you to do something, I promise.” Lisa assured her.
Jennie sighed and shook her head in defeat and drank Lisa’s drink. It didn’t taste bad as she thought it would be. Jennie didn’t really plan on drinking anything that night but she ended up drinking plenty of drinks with Lisa and Rosé.
She started to loosen up and the people around her began to dance and talk to her unlike a while ago. Some guys would come to her to ask for her number but Lisa would always interrupt and the guys would just walk away, annoyed with Lisa’s behavior. Jennie could already tell that Lisa was already drunk. Meanwhile, Rosé was out of sight. Jennie told herself that she should stop drinking before she gets drunk as well or else they wouldn’t get to their dorm in one piece. She felt responsible for the situation that she was facing. Jennie heaved a sigh and turned to Lisa who was dancing alone beside her. She held Lisa’s shoulder so the latter could look at her.
“Lisa, just stay here okay? I’ll look for Chaeng first.” Jennie said but Lisa just grinned.
Jennie then left Lisa so she could start her search for Rosé. She tried shouting her name but there was no response from her. She went to the restroom, hoping she would see Rosé there. All the cubicles were open except for one. She looked around first before ducking down to see who was in the closed cubicle. Her eyes widened when she saw a two pair of feet inside. She heard a moan.
“Chaeyoung...” She wasn’t sure whose voice she’d heard but if she’s not mistaken, it was Momo’s.
“Stop...this.” She heard Rosé breathed out which made Jennie gasped.
“Someone’s outside.” She heard Momo.
“Oh shit.” Rosé swore.
When Jennie heard the lock clicked open, she rushed outside so she won’t be seen by the two. But she failed because Rosé recognized her.
“Jennie!” Rosé called while panting. Jennie stopped in her tracks but didn’t turn to face her. “I swear, it’s not what you think. Don’t mention this to Jisoo, I will explain myself to her.” Rosé said.
Before Jennie could even say something, they heard the people cheering and they saw that they formed a circle in the middle of the dancefloor. They went to see what the fuss was all about and they saw Lisa having a showdown with Seulgi. Jennie had to admit, even when Lisa was already intoxicated, she still could dance as good as she was sober (but she found it hotter). Everyone was entertained with what they were seeing. Seulgi clapped her hands and bowed her head to Lisa for putting up a good show.
The people went back to their own businesses after the showdown. Lisa breathed out with a smug smile on her face. She saw Jennie and Rosé, but before she could make her way to her friends, someone grabbed her wrist. She couldn’t recognize him but the anger and sadness in his eyes was evident.
“Why can’t you just accept my feelings? I can cure you, you know?” The guys said but Lisa knitted her brow.
“Let go of me, I think it’s you who needs to be cured.” Lisa said as she tried to freed herself from his grip.
The guy grabbed Lisa’s face in attempt to kiss her but the guy was surprised with a punch landing on his face. He fell on the floor and everyone was looking at them. It was Jennie who punched him, she then grabbed Lisa’s hand.
“Let’s go home.” Jennie sternly said and stormed off the bar. Rosé on the other hand bowed her head to everyone and to the guy who Jennie punched and helped him get on his feet.
“I’m sorry for what happened Taehyung. It was too late for me to stop her. You know what happens when people get drunk.” Rosé sheepishly said and bowed her head. “I’m really sorry.”
Rosé walked faster to catch up with Jennie who was dragging Lisa by the hand. The three hailed a taxi instead of walking. Rosé helped Jennie with Lisa to get into their dorm, they lied her in her bed and Rosé turned to Jennie.
“Jennie, promise me to not tell Jisoo about what you saw and heard. It’s just nothing and I’m not cheating on her. I will tell her what happened tonight first thing tomorrow.” Rosé said and Jennie sighed.
“Fine. She told me to keep an eye on you just so you know.”
“I told her to do that but I didn’t know she would actually do it.” Rosé softly chuckled. “Well, thanks for trying I guess. Have a goodnight.” She bowed her head and went out of the dorm.
Jennie sighed, when she was just about to sit on her bed, she heard Lisa called her name.
“Jennie?”
Jennie went and sat on the side of Lisa's bed. “Yes?” Lisa looked at Jennie’s eyes with a weak smile painted on her face as she held her hand.
“Thanks for saving me from that creepy guy.”
“It’s nothing. You don’t deserve to be treated like that.” Jennie smiled. When she was about to take her hand back, Lisa pulled her and throw her arms tight around her.
“You’re my savior.” Lisa mumbled under Jennie’s hair and she gave her a kiss on the cheek, the latter’s cheek was growing warm and her heart was hammering against her chest.
“What have you done to me Lisa?” Jennie thought.
