A/n: this chapter is all about Chaesoo (if that's okay with you and if not, then just skip this ) enjoy~
Jisoo hadn’t had enough sleep the day when the three had a party to go to. She couldn’t focus on her math problem. She was too worried about her girlfriend that she didn’t care about solving a stupid math problem that she thought she wouldn’t be needing in the future. It’s not that she didn’t trust Rosé, but perhaps the people that would be around her couldn’t be trusted. It was already 1am and she was waiting for Rosé’s call for her to let her at least know that she’s back at her dorm safe and sound. She waited one more hour but she didn’t receive a call, not even a single text. She thought maybe they’re still at the party. She was already feeling sleepy and so she just sleep her worry away. Maybe when she wake up she would finally receive a message, right?
But no, still not a single message was received by Jisoo. She was disappointed to say the least. But a thought came into her mind. Was she already being possessive towards Rosé that’s why she didn’t receive a text or a call? Was she getting tired of her being clingy? She shook her head, she told herself to stop overthinking. She decided to give Rosé a call instead of waiting. After a few rings, her girlfriend picked it up.
“Hey.” Jisoo unenthusiatically said.
“I was actually going to call you but you preceded me.” Rosé chuckled but soon realized and noticed Jisoo’s strange silence. “You okay Chichu?”
“Y-yeah. Of course. Why wouldn’t I be?” Jisoo halfheartedly chuckle.
“You know what, let’s just meet up and talk this out. Come to our dorm, the landlady is out so she won’t know there’s an outsider here and...I actually have something to tell you. I’ll be waiting for you okay? Take care, bye.”
Rosé hung up and Jisoo felt anxious. What would Rosé tell her? Was she going to break up with her? She’s overthinking again. She shook her head and went to Rosé’s dorm. She texted Rosé when she arrived at the gate and she was soon welcomed by her. They went to Rosé’s room since it was too hot on the rooftop and Somi was out with her friends. Jisoo felt more anxious when she noticed that Rosé wasn’t as jolly. They sat down on Rosé’s bed and there was a short yet uncomfortable silence before Jisoo broke it.
“Should I...be worried?”
“About what?”
“I don’t know, I’m just thinking that maybe you’re pulling away and you’re tired of me already even though we’re just starting.” Jisoo sighed.
“That’s ridiculous. And that’s exactly the point, we’re just starting. Why would you think I’m pulling away?” Rosé lightheartedly chuckled.
“You don’t even say you love me anymore through text or call.” Jisoo mumbled that made Rosé giggled.
“Oh Chichu, you’re so cute when you’re like that.” Rosé smiled. “Just because I don’t say it doesn’t mean I don’t. I will do everything to put your mind at ease, just name it and I will.”
“Tell me you love me.” Jisoo said, Rosé cupped her face and stared right into her eyes.
“I love you, Kim Jisoo. I’m sorry if I make you feel unloved but I do. It’s just too cheesy for me to say it is all.” Rosé chuckled.
“Okay, sorry if I doubted you.” Jisoo said with a sad smiled and held Rosé’s hand. “So how was the party last night? I was waiting for your text if you already got home.”
“Oh.” Rosé nervously chuckled. “Uh...a situation happened and I forgot to text you.” She looked away, avoiding Jisoo’s gaze.
“What happened?”
“Lisa got harassed and Jennie punched someone.” Rosé said and Jisoo felt that there’s something her girlfriend hasn’t told her.
“And...that’s all?” Jisoo said and Rosé inhaled deeply and met Jisoo’s gaze.
“Do you trust me?”
“Should I be in doubt again?”
“No, but I want you to trust me. So will you, please?”
“You’re making me nervous, you know.”
“Someone kissed me at the party.” Rosé blurted out and then pursed her lips.
“What?! Who did?!” Jisoo yelled.
“Babe, calm down. I don‘t want you to attack her.” Rosé held Jisoo’s both hands to calm her down.
“Her, huh? Who is she?”
“Promise me to not cause trouble with her.”
“Why are you protecting her anyway?” Jisoo furrowed her eyebrows and tried to free her hands from Rosé’s grip but the latter tightened her grip.
“I’m not, I just don’t want you to cause trouble from my mistake. And I told you to trust me so please do. I’m telling you this because you deserve to know, and I don’t want to hide anything from you.” Rosé sighed and gently stroked Jisoo’s cheek. “And even if I kiss anyone, yours is still more meaningful.” She softly smiled.
“Oh Chaeng.” Jisoo sighed and softens her stare at Rosé. “If only I don’t really, really love you, I would’ve pushed you out of that freaking window.” She said as she pointed at the window near them.
“We all know you love me.” Rosé giggled. “So, we’re good now?”
“I love you.” Jisoo smiled with her eyes.
“Me loves Chichu more.” Rosé said in a cute voice and then kissed Jisoo’s cheek. “Do you want to eat?”
“Yes please.”
They went out to eat samgyeopsal and while they were eating, Jisoo noticed Rosé was spacing out as she was chewing her pork.
“Chaeng?” Jisoo snapped in front of Rosé’s face and the latter blink her eyes as she looked at Jisoo.
“What?”
“Something on your mind?”
“I just thought of Lisa.”
“Why? What about her?”
“She likes Jennie but it seems like she doesn’t know the word courage.” Rosé shrugged and ate a piece of pork. “Well, I kind of understand her situation to say the least. I mean maybe Jennie doesn’t swing the other way so it’s kind of hard to tell if Lisa has a chance.”
“You want to play as a matchmaker with me?” Jisoo mischievously smiled.
“I just told you, we don’t even know if Jennie likes girls. I don’t want Lisa to get hurt again.”
“Leave it to me. After I find out, then let’s play our parts.” Jisoo smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.
