Feelings

Chapter 3

“Okay, you can do this Lisa.” Lisa said to herself as she composed herself.

She held the doorknob to open it but she wasn’t expecting that Jennie was also going to open the door so she stumbled on her feet and she landed on Jennie, the two fell on the floor and their face were just inches apart. Lisa felt her face burning and she quickly got up.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” Lisa apologized and helped Jennie. “Are you okay?” She worriedly asked.

“Yeah, thanks.” Jennie sheepishly chuckled. “Um, do you know where I can buy food or groceries here?”

“There’s a supermarket nearby here.” Lisa answered.

“Do you mind coming with me?” Jennie asked and Lisa gulped.

“Um, I...I can’t actually. I have things to do.” Lisa lied and she saw Jennie’s face fell down.

“Oh, okay. I guess I’ll be going by myself.” Jennie sadly smiled. “Um, thanks. Bye.” Jennie bowed to her roommate and started to walk away.

“But I think I can just do my stuff later.” Lisa said and Jennie stopped from her tracks and looked at her. “I mean, do you mind if I come with you?” She asked and Jennie smiled.

“I don’t. Thank you.” Jennie smiled and the two walked together to the supermarket.

Lisa took her phone from her pocket and texted Rosé.
