Chapter three

Valkyrie POV

The rest of the day is rather eventful and quick surprisingly with the amount of pain I’m feeling from the silver burning my skin leaving marks all over my body. I fell in and out of consciousness from the pain through out the day. It soon reaches night fall and my punishment shall be over all I had to do was get through the night. My body aching. I had no clue what time it was when I heard a voice “hello Valkyrie my names Vally and I’ve been dying to come out and be with you” she tells me. Omg my wolf I finally have a wolf I thought to myself “ hi valley I’m so glad youre finally here you’re my wolf right” I ask the voice. “Hmm something like that” she chuckles “I’m sorry I haven’t been able to be with you this whole time, I’ve always been in your mind dormant waiting to be free with you I wish I could take away your pain” she tells me “that’s okay I understand, wait how can I communicate with you with silver it should be blocking you from interacting with me” I ask curiously. “We are different that’s all I can say for now trust me you’re meant for great things More than you realize now Time will tell” she tells me.

I hear footsteps turning my head to see Liam walking towards me. I feel this pull and attraction to him when my wolf starts wagging her tail back and forth in my head running in circles “MATE MATE HAS COME FOR US” she cries. Oh no anybody but him I plead with the goddess “give him a chance” she says. “Hello little mate” he purrs out in a rough voice. “Hello” I squeak out. “Now why would the goddess mate me with some lowly omega slave, I have no intention on making you my Luna Valkyrie” he says with disgust. “ but I can hardly resist myself to turn your pathetic ass away. You will be staying with me as my play thing. While I take Sherrie as my Luna” he tells me with an evil glint in his blue icy eyes a smile tugging at his lips like he’s doing me a favor. I let out a sob. My mate the one person who’s supposed to love me unconditionally has showed me that nobody will ever love me. I have to leave. I have to escape. “You will tell no one about us understood” he growls out in his alpha tone. “Yes alpha” is all I say as he turns his back and I let out sob after sob crying for what could have been. Valley snarling and whining in my head “that bastard doesn’t deserve us” she says. We fall into a slumber despite the pain in our heart.

My last thought thanking the goddess for valley at least I wasn’t alone now. Morning came quickly as did the guards to take me up to see the alpha and Luna. We walk up the packhouse stairs to alphas office stopping and knocking on the door. “I’m going to delay your healing I think it’s best they think you didnt get a wolf for now that way when we make it out they underestimate us” she tells me and I silently agree as she goes back in the back of my mind hiding out of sight. I don’t know how she has managed to do this normally it takes years for one to learn to control suppressing your wolf. The door opens, Alpha brad is seating behind his desk with Luna Karen in his lap on the couch is Lylith looking smug as ever and Future alpha Liam my mate with the blonde bimbo Sherrie sitting in his lap. “Sit down Valkyrie” alpha brad tells me I sit in the chair slowly hissing when the pain from the silver hits the chair. Karen, Lylith and Sherrie look at me with smiles tugging at their lips from the pain. Liam looks like he’s fighting for control of his wolf. The alpha clears his throat loudly causing me to look up from the ground to his face “ as you can see my son has found his mate so we have decided to push the ceremony from next week to two days from now guest will start arriving today and tomorrow the next night we will have the ceremony I expect the guest bedrooms cleaned and menus to be written up by the end of the day, you can pick two omegas to help you” he tells me “yes alpha Brad” “now that my son has found his mate we will also be holding the Luna ceremony straight after so also prepare their room on the alpha floor I will give you the code for the elevator once your done with the other duties first” my heart breaks at the thought of my mate marking another as his own.

I feel the rage rising in my chest “yes alpha” I say through gritted teeth I’m not stupid enough to loose my cool with him he could tear me to shreds in seconds and nobody would stop him. “You’re dismissed” he tells me and goes back to chatting with his family. I walk to the omega floor and find Sandy and another omega that she shares a room with to help me with the rooms my heart hurting as I walk down the basement stairs. I knock on their door and walk in “hey san, alpha wants the three of us to clear the guest rooms if yall wouldn’t mind helping” she rushes forward throwing herself In my arms I quickly embrace her holding back tears wincing at the pain that’s radiating through my body . Sandy has been my only friend. “I’m so sorry they did this to you” she cries me looking at the burns all over my body from the silver. “It’s not your fault let’s just get these rooms clean” I tell her.

The other omega Sally looking at me with sympathy. We make our way to the guest rooms cleaning out one by one. Vacuuming, putting fresh bed sheets, refreshments and tidying each room. By the time we are done we are exhausted. “Just a few more days you got this girl” valley tells me. Do I though. I make my way to the kitchen after thanking the girls to make the menu for the next two days. Guests have started to arrive I drop the menu in the alphas office box and go straight to my room hoping to avoid any chance of a confrontation. I will get air once everyone got to sleep I think it would do me some good. I lay on the cot thinking about my escape. What I will do with my life, where I would go. I decided to make a run for the human territory on the other side of the lycan kings castle. I could blend in there. I could heal and train and come up with a plan to get my revenge on this pack on my mate on everybody who’s done me wrong. The rage burning in my stomach as I think about it. Two more f*****g days.
