NATASHA’S POV
I decided to leave while Adrian was asleep because I just didn’t want to deal with him apologizing all over again in the morning. Of course, I had forgiven him because I couldn't stay angry with him for too long, but I no longer trusted him with myself as much as I did before. He regretted what he had done and I could see in his face that he wished he could just make it up to me, but unfortunately, the damage had already been done. I would have expected Adrian of all people to not treat me the way he had because he knew what I had been through and yet he had been careless enough to treat me the way he had.
