ADRIAN’S POV
I hadn't seen Natasha in a very long time and it wasn’t my fault that we were not meeting, she had been postponing our meeting and the fact that Brian’s trip had taken longer than we had expected it to be and that made everything worse for me because she had a lot of work to do to fill in the gap. However, despite the things that were happening between us, I still missed her and I made sure to tell her whenever I spoke to her on the phone. In my opinion, Victoria was the reason that my relationship with Natasha had become so messed up.
“Hey baby,” I said as soon as she picked up her phone when I called in the evening. It had become a norm for us to talk every evening just to check on how her day was.
