"The overall outline is good but I want something innovative," Amelia's boss told her. It has been three years since she has been listening to this same thing. She knew this time that what he meant was completely opposite, therefore she again sat before her PC to design the cliché design that her boss wanted. Amelia, a 25 years old, timid but intelligent girl, working at a game developing company named 'Z-Gen' as a designer. It was her dream to design the game inspired from the adventures fantasy world that she experienced from her favourite childhood books. When she played 3D video games, she realized she can experience the world of fantasy in real life. She wanted the other people who loved the books to have the same experience, hence she decided to pursue a career in this field. She was quite a bright child who always busied herself in books. Amelia's classmates would often tease her by calling her 'nerdy'. She had to wear thick glasses in her school days as her eyesight was poor, that became another reason for teasing! She had very few friends as she was quite a shy girl. Her parents, who owned a small floral shop, loved her. It was her mother who introduced her to the world of fairy tales and then in middle school she came across the more adventurous books such as, 'Alice's adventures in wonderland', 'Peter Pan' 'Harry Potter' or 'Percy Jackson', that enchanted her! Even though Amelia was an intelligent girl and was precious to her parents in her school, she often got teased for her looks. She had few friends, her best buddies were Nathan and Olivia, who were 'nerdy' students like her. Her high school life was not something to reminisce about. She faced an incident there that made her even more aloof from other people. There was a group of bullies 'so called pretty girls' in her class. She became the target of their teasing. They would tease her by calling her nerdy and ugly. Amelia, however, did not endure it and confronted them. But soon she faced one unfortunate incident caused by their leader Juliana. She had a crush on a boy named Arthur, a handsome jock, as they called highschool boys. She did not only like him just because he was handsome but he was well mannered too. He himself approached her and talked with her and her friends, often greeted them. He even showed interest in joining their study group. These things made her evaluate him as a good guy that she realized later, was very naive thinking of her. Arthur would talk in the same manner with the group of bully pretty girls too. Earlier Amelia thought he could be friends with them too, it is not a bad thing. When Arthur talked with Amelia she found out Juliana looked displeasured. Once Amelia was having snacks in the canteen where Arthur stood near them, she couldn't help but stare at him. "Oh nerdy seems to have a crush on Arthur," she deliberately spoke loudly. Amelia was little bit startled but ignored her and resumed her eating. She came near her face and said, "do you think he would like someone as ugly as you? He likes me not you," with saying that she went to him and began to chat with him by placing a hand on his shoulder. Arthur doesn't seem to have any objection; he chatted with her happily. This incident made her a little bit wary of her crush and she decided to keep it to herself. However, things turned out opposite to her thinking. The next day when she was away from the class, the evil girl Juliana found her notebook. There was Arthur's name written on it with the stickers of hearts. She didn't know when Juliana discovered it. Then as Amelia entered the class she went to Arthur and announced loudly, "look ugly nerdy has a crush on you." Arthur was silent. "Do you also like her Arthur?" she asked mockingly. "Don't talk nonsense, I'm just friends with her, she's not even pretty to match with me," he shouted loudly. Amelia's whole world shattered, she could hear the whole class laughing at her. She couldn't even confront Juliana, she ran to the washroom in tears. Since then she had become more silent, only talking with her old friends Nathan and Olivia. She decided to give her time to studies and achieve her dream of making adventure games. She pursued computer science engineering and further graduated from a game designing major as one of toppers. Soon after completing college, she got hired in one of the top companies known for game designing 'Gen-Z'. She joined the job with enthusiasm but soon it turned into a disappointment. She was treated more like an office assistant in her company. Her job was limited to documenting, scheduling meetings with clients and just creating designs as her senior designer told her. Her ideas were not welcomed at all. She couldn't enjoy the partying and clubbing events hence she stayed away from it. She kept her cold demeanour, being careful from previous experience. There was hope in her mind that one day she will get the opportunity to design an amazing fantasy game. However in the last three years the hope was getting crushed. These days she wanted to quit her job but she was now living in a small rented apartment. She didn't want to burden her parents who were in hometown. The another concern was, she had neither the concrete idea about what she will do after quitting the job. That one night she was too stressed therefore she went to her solace, the collection of fantasy books. Surprisingly she found one book named, 'The Great Warrior Princess Albana', which she didn't remember reading or buying at all. She wondered maybe she bought it years ago and forgot to read. 'Whatever', she said to herself and began to read the book. It was a story from a different planet who's princess was in a war, fighting against deadly monstrous enemies from the galaxy. Amelia gradually felt sleepy, all she could remember was her hand was on the picture of the galaxy that was so vivid. Suddenly she found herself in a beautiful castle that seemed to be built into the sky. She walked further and observed the things, she was certain that this was a dream. She further explored the castle that we find in a fantasy tale. There were huge purple and blue colored flowers with a very delightful fragrance. The castle seemed to be a huge place without a trace of an end. When she entered inside, she found the sky heightened pillars on which the castle stood. The floor was designed by light marble tiles. There were blue colored water fountains in the centre. The decor had mostly been done with diamonds, sapphires and with such extraordinary stones. She saw some birds were flying but they looked so different from the ones she saw in reality. She was so amazed by this surreal view that she failed to notice one old man who appeared to be a sage approached her. Grey haired man with a long beard, wearing white silk garments, he looked divine. ''The courage and purpose to save others brings victory," he said. Amelia was puzzled by this sudden statement. She thought to herself, 'why is this person instead of introducing himself, talking relentlessly?'. She wondered what this old man was saying, the man paused, smiled at her and said "welcome back princess". Amelia thought 'princess?', 'yes that can happen in a dream right?' 'Let's just enjoy this thing as when I wake up everything will disappear.' She asked the sage old man, "this dream is quite weird but beautiful, what kind of land or universe is this?" "This is the kingdom of Zovian, the one that protects the seven kingdoms in this galaxy," he replied. Amelia wondered loudly, "yes it certainly seems like some grand kingdom from the fantasy novel or a drama". "Human mind is so limited to fathom an infinite universe, you believe the things that you can see only do exist, but there is so much more than that to uncover. "Okay, I'll say whatever you say is true wise old man, as I'm in a dream and most of this dream, I'm sure, I'll be forgetting about when I'll wake up". "It is your destiny to fulfil that which had been left undone," the old man said and he disappeared into thin air, leaving some whirlpool like air behind.
