I smile as I’m staying to the shadows of the dying lite. I was so worried when Ryland contacted us telling us where they were being held. I still don’t trust him, but it seems like he is changing my mind. He reported to us that Alpha Caleb, Beta Ronin and Beta Dell are being held in the basement. He has not been able to see them, so he doesn’t know what condition they are in. Ellie, however, is being kept in a locked room on the east side. That is how I had found her. I could smell her scent through the small fresh air duck that was open. It a relief to know at least one of them are okay. If Ellie is okay, then Caleb must be, or she would be dying.
I make my way back to where Marabella is a mile away. She is talking to Cedric who is still at the base. I turn
