Networking Event
At around 6pm Josh texted Gabby to let her know that the Uber driver had arrived to fetch them. In return for watching Daniel, Josh had called in the favour that she owed. He’d asked her to be his date to his annual networking event at the Sandton City Convention Centre.
He walked out the garage onto the street towards Gabby’s, where the Uber driver had parked the black Mercedes C Class with chrome finish – Uber Black, obviously.
