The next morning Josh woke to Gabby reading a magazine, her feet resting on his bed.
“Josh, how are you feeling?” she asked. “Detective Sidd told me about last night. I didn’t want to wake you. I took the day off. I can’t believe this.” She raced through everything with a panic in her voice.
“Hey, Gabs. Everything is fine now. Detective Sidd and Rhonda assured me that they have it all under control. Security is going to be increased and there is a plan for everyone’s safety, especially you and Daniel. I’m sorry that you are around all of this, it must be so scary for you and Daniel.
