After the relaxing time at the private game reserve, Detective Sidd and Josh were back at Carter & Associates and continued to review all the files and photographs from the search and seizure operation as well as all information that had come up in the investigation. The only outstanding items were the memory cards, which were all encrypted, including the one from the office phone that they were most interested in.
They built up a list of interested persons to interview, each of who could possibly add further insight into who Wikus Louw really was and how he conducted his business. The list comprised neighbours, ex-business partners, community members and friends. Many of them had, like Josh’s father, lost millions in retirement funds because of the Hillstrong share collapse.
