I was born into a humble clan nestled alongside the banks of a winding river, a place where the world felt quaint and ordinary—except for me. From the moment I took my first breath, I was haunted by vivid, recurring dreams of an imposing alpha, a majestic figure cloaked in shadows, who beckoned me to avenge my father’s untimely death. He spoke with a voice that resonated deep within my soul, proclaiming that I was the chosen one, destined for greatness. Our clan finds itself embroiled in a ceaseless struggle against the Harvard Clan, a formidable group shrouded in mystery and known as the Mysterious Wolves. They are a fearsome adversary, their presence instilling dread in the hearts of all who cross their path. The whispers of their dark deeds send shivers through our community, hinting at their cunning and lethal prowess. As I stand at the precipice of my destiny, I feel the weight of expectation on my shoulders—an unyielding belief that I alone hold the key to my clan’s salvation from the clutches of these enigmatic wolves.

Chapter 1
The full moon illuminated the night sky, casting a subdued glow over the dense forest where the oscar clan had assembled. Around me, the other members of the clan underwent a transformation—bones creaked, muscles shifted, and skin transformed into fur. The resultant howl was primal and intense, a sound intrinsic to the wilderness. However, I remained unchanged. I am Raven, the designated leader of the Oscar Clan. Born under the blood moon, I was marked by the elders as the one who would guide our group into a new era. Nevertheless, I harbored a secret deeply embedded in my heart: I was unable to undergo transformation. Since childhood, I have experienced a recurring dream in which an alpha designates me as the chosen one. At the age of twelve, I was the only atypical wolf among the clan, showing no indication of being a wolf. The wolf clan perceived me as human and sought to expel me; however, they were unable to do so, as my birth was witnessed by my parents and the elders. Every full moon, each call of the Oscar, and every shared bond between wolf and human served as a reminder of my distinctiveness. While my parents and the others assumed powerful forms, I remained human, bound to a destiny I did not comprehend. “Why am I unable to change?” I quietly inquired, my voice quavering in the cold night air. My father emerged from the shadows—a formidable figure in wolf form, his amber eyes radiating concern. Upon shifting back to human form, his expression softened. “You are more than your physical transformation,” he explained. “Your strength lies not in fur or claws.” “However, the Oscar Clan requires a leader who can run alongside us,” I responded, frustration welling within me. “A leader who can stand equal in the wilderness.” My father grasped my hands, warmth traveling through my cold fingers. “The elders selected you for a specific reason. Your path is different, yet no less significant.” Despite his reassurances, as the moonlight touched my skin, I could not dispel the sensation of incompleteness—of a destiny that had been promised but remained elusive. This changed on the night the shadow arrived. A darkness that no wolf’s strength could withstand. In that moment, my inability to shift transitioned from being a burden to an asset. The situation was critical. The forest exhibited an unsettling stillness, with the usual nocturnal sounds muted by an inexplicable quietude. The Oscar clan convened in the clearing, palpable tension coursing through their fur akin to static electricity. My father maintained a close proximity, his wolf form imposing and vigilant, ears poised to detect any potential threats. The elders engaged in urgent discussions, their expressions marked by concern. “The Harvard clan has returned,” one elder articulated in a hushed yet grave tone. “These enigmatic wolves, associated with darkness, have resurfaced after a prolonged absence.” I felt a lump in my throat. I had been raised on stories—narratives that depicted a mysterious clan that perpetually engaged in conflicts with us, seeking to dominate and diminish our power. “This is the reason for your selection,” my father conveyed quietly, his gaze fixed intently upon mine. “You possess the ability to confront these unknown wolves in manners beyond our capability.” I shook my head in disbelief. “I am not even capable of shifting. How can I possibly confront a clan that targets our kind?” He grasped my hand firmly. “Your true strength lies not in your ability to transform into a wolf, but in your inherent nature beyond that form. The elders have faith that your connection to the spiritual realm surpasses that of any other.” Before I could articulate a response, a haunting howl pierced the night, swiftly followed by frantic growls and the sound of rushing paws. The formidable wolves were already upon us. From the forest perimeter, pairs of blue eyes glimmered in the darkness, a mouth agape, revealing elongated teeth. The other members of the clan hurried to their residences and secured their doors. The wolves surged toward us, baring fangs and displaying fierce gazes. My father transformed into his wolf form and leaped into action. I remained paralyzed—unable to engage in combat with claws or fangs, yet feeling an awakening deep within: a surge of energy, both cold and formidable. Instinctively, I raised my hands, and a silver light emanated from my palms, illuminating the encroaching darkness. The mysterious wolves recoiled, producing hissing sounds akin to a cornered creature. “You are the light,” my father growled, his eyes locking with mine as he contended alongside me. “You are the chosen one.” The confrontation was not yet concluded. For the first time, I experienced the power residing within me—not of material flesh and fur, but of something primal, something that incited fear in the mysterious wolves. I recognized that this was merely the commencement of a greater challenge. As dawn gradually illuminated the forest, casting pale gold hues across the strewn leaves and tarnished earth, the Oscar clan assembled at the clearing’s perimeter, fatigued yet triumphant. The mysterious wolves had retreated—for the time being. My father remained by my side, his wolf form resting adjacent to me as I sat cross-legged on the moss, still sensing the residual pulse of red light beneath my skin. “You displayed remarkable capability,” my father remarked softly, transitioning back to his human form. His amber eyes reflected admiration and a deeper emotion—pride. I expressed uncertainty. “I felt as though I was barely maintaining control. It seemed that the power could dissipate at any moment.” Frequently, when the wolves engaged in hunting, I was left behind, with my parents departing to seek sustenance. I once ventured beyond my home to attempt hunting independently, despite my lack of inherent power. Encountering significant difficulty, I inadvertently crossed a border into foreign territory. While attempting to navigate this unfamiliar environment, I overheard a growling noise emanating from the bushes, prompting me to conceal myself and observe. I discovered a young wolf, growling, which then morphed into a girl of my age, seated alone on a hill, seemingly despondent. Initially, I hesitated to approach her, fearing it might be a trap. Nonetheless, I sensed her distress.
