Leonard's POV
I walked back to the office in my room, feeling refreshed from my conversation with Leonard. I owe that to Valerie.
I opened my laptop to see I'd gotten a new message from Marvin. I clicked on it and saw a video of Valerie entering a taxi at the far end of the street.
She left by herself, and she looks sad, but not the type of sadness she wears when I'm around. There's nothing suspicious or out of normal in the video. I was about to move to other messages when another one came in.
This one captured the event closely from a different angle, but there was still no different. My computer pinged again. Another message from Marvin and I opened
‘Boss, I think your wife might have been kidnapped. Look at these pictures closely’
I stared closely and keenly this time around,
