CHAPTER TWENTY
Ash’s POV
“Hey, Ash? Are you awake?” His voice cut through my unconsciousness slowly and I started to wonder if I am dead or dreaming or waking up since the last time I saw Jace was he was dying, lifeless and as pale as death.
I didn’t because I was still figuring out if I was dreaming or not but then I heard humming and I would know that voice anywhere, conscious or not.
I couldn’t hear him that clearly and I didn’t want to know why, if this was all I could get with Jace then I was perfectly fine with it. I didn’t want to ruin any part of it. I just wanted to enjoy what I could have.
