Jace’s POV
I didn’t know what happened but my body ached and the last thing I remembered was Ashley’s beautiful green eyes.
Was it a dream or is she…really here?

I blinked slowly, trying to get a look at my surroundings. Did I sleep on the floor in my room or…?
But the sight that greeted me was plain white walls and the sharp smell of hospital, I frowned.
When I looked out the window, I couldn’t tell where I was because all I could see was an ashen ground, black dirt and smoke hanging in the air heavily. I tried to remember what happened but the only thing that I could remember was Ash and that it wasn’t a dream. It was real, wherever this was, Ash was here.
