Raton was silent, he knew how angry I was at that moment. And I was sure he didn’t want to get it worse.
“I was a fool,” he said, pacing around my living room.
I looked away, trying to hold back my emotions, but it was difficult to ignore the words that came from him.
He was clear, he only realized how much he missed me because I was gone, there was no Valerie, someone he could discuss his daily activities with.
Now he knew how wrong he was, the things he thought he could figure out without me.
I hissed and leaned against the wall, my heart pounding heavily. “Is this because I left? Did you see value in me?”
