Raton’s POV My grandfather was silent for some seconds, his eyes staring at me like he was so disappointed with what I had become. I understood he had raised me to be tougher than this, but unfortunately, I was nothing compared to his toughness. My grandfather was something different and he ruled amongst other billionaires in the city. “It’s better we don’t talk about Valerie, Grandpa,” I muttered, standing up to leave. He shook his head and concentrated on the documents on his table. I cleared my throat, stood up, and walked out of the study. I couldn’t help but think back to his words back there.
