THE MURDER WEAPON EPISODE TWELVE

Clark, he must have fallen in love with waridi because when faruk told her there was another man that was making waridi act the way she was acting, he knew it was definitely Rahim and he was upset about it because he didn't like Rahim the first time they met and again as much as he liked waridi alit, his loyalty was with Faruk and that alone would give him a reason to get rid of Rahim.

he got to his place and the first thing he did after dumping his phone and keys on the table was head to his little bar and poured himself a drink.

"you can't love him!'

he said to himself.

he pulled a chair to the small counter by his bar and sat with his eyes roaming on the drinks that were on the other side of the shelves.

"what do i do so that you don't end up with that looser?"

he asked an empty chair with an assumption that waridi was sitting right there..

I love you, don't you get it. i protected you from faruk because i love you but do you, when I'm with you, i feel so complete...the laughter, the stories abd watching the smile and your dimpled cheeks complete me.. how can i tell you all these without making a fool out of myself?

he took another sip of his drink the brushed his hair with his hand and git up then walked back to the living room where he had left his phone and picked it up.

he went to the speed dial and saw Waridis name and he thought if calling her but on second thought, he did not. he sat on the couch, out the glass on the table and leaned back. he took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he stared to reminisce the times he had spent hanging out with waridi..

the club was dull after Waridi left and not many people stayed late to watch the other ladies do their thing because no one turned them on like Waridi did. no one made them spend their money like waridi did and that is why faruk was so mad when waridi told him that she was leaving. Waridi knew how to handle every client. most of them would smack the ladies behind and waridi never fought them or create a scene but she knew how to handle them and protect her job too.

the night was long but waridi slept in my arm the whole right clinging on to me like I was some price she gad won. i knew she felt something for me and i knew how deep her feeling's when she came back to me. screw Faruk, I thought as i kissed her on the forehead. faruk gad screwed me more than enough times and even though i thought of using Waridi to get back to him, it was a good thing that waridi had jumped to my side. i was going to find another way to bring faruk down, maybe even kill him fir everything he had made me go through after Duke's death..

that night, my thoughts were a over the place but I didn't want to turn and toss besides Waridi because i did not want to interfere with her sleep. my mind was on Rosemary, Duke's mother. she died, just like that and no one knew what killed her. no one saw what happened, not even Renee that was supposed to be by her side always.

was i wrong to stop Duke's mum fro. thinking Renee was shady, was there something she had seen in her that nade her feel the way she felt about her.. no it couldn't be. she thought Renee was involved in Duke's death and we all know that wasn't true. she was not there when Dukes dies but then again what business did she have with faruk?. did faruk make her kill Rosemary and warned her against talking about it to anyone, were they both acting at the hospital?..

i took a deep breath then slowly rolled away from Waridi and i got out of bed. I needed to get to the bottom of everything because Rosemary was like my mother too and in Duke's absence, I was the one who was supposed to protect her from faruk and his goons..

when morning came, i went our for a run as usual abd i didn't bother to wake Waridi because i felt like she needed some rest especially after the crazy day she had at work the previous day before she resigned. i know she was an asset to Faruk but she definitely deserved Better abd besides that, if she was going to be my girl, she was going to need a better job that dancing for men naked..

i jogged all the way to Duke's home and when i got there, it seemed quiet than usual. the lights in the livingroom were and when i knocked, there was no response. i called on Renee but she didn't seem to be in the house because she was not responding. had she freaked out and didn't sleep in the house because Rosemary died?..

why didn't she call me?..

she knows i would have showed up and taken her with me. i was devastated and even after trying to reach her, her number was not going through...

i decided to leave the house and go to the hospital where Duke's mum had been admitted. i needed to get a clear picture of what the doctor found. what kind of poison was used and if there is anything else they found.

i got an Uber and by the time i got to the hospital, it was around 7:30am. the doctor who had been attending to Rosemary had not yet checked in but i was told he was on his way and i had to wait. while at it, i checked how business was doing then flipped through news and stuff before the receptionist told me that the doctor was ready to see me..

i got up and majestically walked towards the doctor's office and when i knocked, he asked me with a deep but cal voice to go in and when i did, we exchanged greetings then he ushered me to a chair.

Me: thank you for seeing me doc.

Doc: sure, I'm here for your service.. your mother has been my patient for a while but i know the other son. she didn't say anything about you.

Me: well, i didn't know how deep you got in conversation but you probably don't know about me because i have not been in the country.i came when i heard news of my brothers death.

Doc: wait, what?.. you brother is dead, i mean the same man who cane here with your mother . he is dead?..

Me: yes he is..

he shook his head in disbelief then told me he was sorry for my losses and stuff..

i asked about Rosemary and he told me that he could not really tell what happened before she took the poison but it was the type that killed someone instantly. it was not the slow but sure death kind of a poison.

i talked to the doctor some more and he told me the cops were on the case because they needed to run some tests to see if there was any strange DNA on her. he took me to go and see her and left me with her for a few minutes..

her body was lying there lifeless and seeing her like that gave me goosebumps.

I'm so sorry. this was not supposed to end like this but i swear i will find out who killed you and i will personally deal with them.. if Renee had something to do with this, she will pay too..i will make sure of it. i promised Dukes i would take care to you but i did not keep to that promise. I'm sorry..

i walked out of the room and found an Uber back home.

i got home and waridi was up. the house was scented with some sweet aroma and walked from the kitchen to the dining carrying two plates of crumbled eggs and she looked sexy with her hair all messed up with her long legs and thighs exposed beneath the T-shirt just enough to make me feel a certain type of way..

Waridi: hey you,

she said smiling and i walked up to her and grabbed her by the waist, pulled her to me and hugged her..

waridi: I won't get tired of kissing you if we continue like This..

we broke free from the hug and she pulled a chai for me, something that i had to be the one doing. i had not have any lady treat me this special i mean it was always I doing stuff and making sacrifices for them..

Me: the breakfast smells nice..

Waridi: thank you..

she sat opposite me and our eyes locked. Waridi had beautiful eyes, the type that got people hypnotized and now i could understand why everyone liked her. she was charming and very fun to be around..

Waridi: i woke up and you were not by my side.

Me: oh...yeah, I'm sorry about that. you were sleeping like a baby and I did not want to interrupt the beauty sleep..you look so beautiful..

Waridi: thanks..

we had breakfast as we talked about alot of things, her way forward now that she had stopped working for Faruk and she told me she was yet to figure it out but she had some businesses to take care of that day..

when we were done with breakfast, i offered to clear the table and do the dishes as she went to take a shower. before i could do the dishes i remembered the dress i had bought Waridi that morning on my way from the hospital. I bought the dress because she probably didn't have something to wear.

Me: hey wait..

i pulled her back when she was about to enter the bathroom and she stopped and took the dress i was handing to her..

Waridi: what is this?

she asked unwrapping it and taking a peek.

Waridi: a dress... wow!..

she threw her arms around my neck and hugged me.

Me: try it... it should look good on you. i thought you would need something to wear today. i know women don't like repeating clothes..

Waridi: you are right about that..

she let the towel drop right infront of me and i won't lie, seeing waridi naked was the most fascinating thing ever..

she put on the dress and i helped zip it up then walked with her to the full length mirror that was stuck to the door to my wardrobe. i had never seen waridi in a dress but she sure looked amazing..

she turned to me with a smile on her face and snapped at me because i was lost staring at her..

waridi: so, how do i look?..

me: you look gorgeous...

i said hugging her from behind and i kissed her neck..

Waridi: thank you for this dress.. that was indeed so thought of you.

she turned to face me and the s****l tension from us getting touchy with each other was building up. the truth is i never had enough of Waridi the previous night and my intention that moment was to tease her and make her ask for some sweet loving, she was teasing me too and i know that's why she stopped her towel like that. was she inviting me for another love making session because i was so ready to take her for the ride of her life..

Waridi: can you help with the zip?

I nodded then walked to her and she turned her back to me so that I could unzip her dress which I slowly did as I slid my hand across her shoulders slowly taking off the dress as I kissed her neck while caresing her and drawing the shape of her body with my hand.

She turned and threw her arms around my neck and kissed me back so I grabbed her by the waist, lifted her off the ground and spread her legs around my hips and lay her on the bed as i continued to kiss her. I took her hands and raised them above her head as we had our fingers locked into each other's then I nibbled her earlobe alternating the kiss from her mouth, neck, chest all the way down.

By now the breathing had become intense and the urge to make love to her was undeniable as she slid down my shorts and grabbed my butt caressing it as she slid her hands back to my back digging deep with her nails then to my neck pressing my head as I nibbled on her n*****s. I looked up and kissed her briefly before sliding down, spreading her legs apart and going down on her.

I played with my tongue licking her tummy all the way down then went gentle around her miss V as I grabbed her butt caressing it as I dug a little deeper with my tongue till I started getting soft moans from her. She moved her hips in circular motion and pressed her miss V towards my mouth and when she couldn't take it anymore she grabbed my head and pushed me in even harder and with that I knew she was ready for me.

She pulled me back up and we started kissing again before she dug into my shorts pulling my little guy out and directing it to her miss V.

Me: (whispering) you are so sweet baby.. you want me to go a the way?

Waridi: yeah, I wanted you to be the one I do it with. last night was fantastic but right now is too much.. i can't wait any more..

Without any more words we got down to business.

AT THE POLICE STATION

The officer was told about Renee being a suspect in the murder of her mother and being seen in the company of drug dealers. She had been held in the interrogation room the whole night until the door opened that morning and in walked the officer.

Officer: what is your name young lady?

Renee: Renee Jabali

Officer: how old are you?

Renee: I'm twenty six years old sir.

Officer: do you understand why you were brought in here?..

Renee: i think it has something to do with my mother's death.

Officer: right. we have to question you and everyone else that was in contact with Rosemary Sarah Doli before her death.

Renee: i understand..

Officer: good. so where were you the day your mother died?

Renee: I had gone out to run a few errands that she had sent me on. i was out there for a few hours say around three or so and when I came back she was lying on the floor with form coming out of her mouth.

Officer: besides you and her, who else lives in the house?

Renee: it was just me and her, no one else. before me there was my brother but he is no more.

Officer: no more?..

Renee: he died..

The officer looked at her for a while then she pulled out some photos and placed them on the table in front of her.

Officer: in the past one month you have been seen with these guys, can you identify them and tell me who they are?

Renee looked at the photos then back at the officer.

Renee: you have been following me?

Officer: we believe the guys you are hanging out with are dangerous and we are still carrying out investigation before we issue their arrest.

When she heard that, she sat back.

Officer: what business do you have with those guys Renee Jabali?

Renee: I don't have any business with them. Those are my dead brothers friends and they came home to support my mother with the funeral arrangements.

Officer: your dead brother, what happened to him?

Renee: He was shot dead when he was coming from his friends place.

Officer: this photo was taken at the hospital and it shows the two of them arguing, would you happen to know what they were arguing about?

Renee: they were not. Everyone was just shocked by my mother's death. it took them by surprise and the tension was because one of them was supposed to be besides mum through out but he wasn't. it was just a stupid blame game but they are all good now.

Officer: okay. That will be it for now. You are free go but do not go out of the country incase we will need you to answer some more questions..

Renee: I'm not planning to go anywhere officer..

The police offered to drop Renee off to her place as it was already so late to go home alone.

She got into the compound and immediately she saw Faruk seated on the steps so she locked the gate and walked up to him.

Faruk: what happened to you, I have been calling and you have not been answering your phone..

She did not say a word but went and sat besides him in the veranda.

Faruk: are you okay?

he asked searching for her face and she nodded then looked away from his gaze.

Renee: earlier today I got arrested and was taken in for questioning.

Faruk: what, why?

Renee: what do you mean why, have you forgotten that my mother is dead. i accompanied the officers to the station because am a suspect on my mum's death.

Faruk: but they let you go so what's the big deal?

Renee: are you serious right now, so what, they were not supposed to let me go, you wanted me to be locked in there for a crime i did not commit?..

Faruk: come down girl, it was just on a lighter note. I have something to ask you. something that I think will excite you

Renee: what?

Faruk: there's a vacancy at my club, would you like to work for me?

She was quiet more like she was thinking about something and she only looke at him when he waved in her face..

Faruk: hey are you here?

Renee: the officer asked about you and Rahim.

she said ignoring what he had just said.

Faruk: what did they ask?

Renee: they think both of you are dangerous and it's like they have been following us around so you might want to be discreet on how you go about your businesses. i really don't know what businesses you are into but they are looking for a reason to get you arrested.

Faruk: what exactly are they looking for?

Renee: I don't know. don't you know what shady businesses both you and Rahim are involve in?

faruk: listen to me.. there is no shady businesses... i will handle that..

Clark was at work but it was so different without Waridi. he had been calling her to see if they could maybe hook up but his call went straight to voicemail..

"damn you two!"

he said putting his phone in the pocket and walked back to the tables to go serve the clients as Faruk had left him in charge when he stepped out to take care of other businesses..

when we were done with our make our session, i had my arm wrapped around her yet again with her head resting on my chest as i stared into the empty ceiling.. caressed my chest then took her hand to my face, caressed my face, ears and pinched my nose and I turned to look at her and I smiled pulling her even closer.

Me: i thought you would go back to sleep after that heavy dose of you know what..

i said peeping inside the blanket and she giggled.

Waridi: nope, i have a few things to do.i have to prepare myself..

Me: oooh, yeah i get it.. can i ask you something?..

Waridi: yes, anything..

Me: any regrets about everything that has happened between us since last night?

Waridi: no, i have no regrets at all. I had a good time and thanks for making me feel so special. it was worth coming back for..

i smiled and she did to then we kissed briefly..

Me: so now that we are both jobless, what do we do with our lives?

Waridi: you are jobless, hahaha you are playing with me.

She said drawing circles on my chest and pinching my n*****s.

Me: am not playing. I quit my job yesterday.

Waridi: why, you were so good at the life saving job. you should have stayed.. imagine had you not been there the day i almost died.. why did you leave though?

Me: I just realized that other areas of my life are suffering and I need to focus more on them.

Waridi: other areas huh?

Me: you should know by now that the swimming pool thing was just a cover right?

Waridi: yeah but I don't know exactly what you do besides that. You deal drugs too, you have deals with faruk but i don't want to assume.

Me: I don't deal drugs I used to supply until everyone I knew got murdered including my boss. Right now what am trying to do is a clean up while your boss...oh ex boss on the other hand intends to revive it. Something that has brought a conflict between us.

Waridi: so what do you intend to do about it?

Me: I don't know yet. Faruk has something against me and it's the only thing holding me back.

Waridi: what does that animal have against you?

Me: will tell you about it when the right time comes, meanwhile you be careful because i know he will surely come after you. faruk is dangerous and don't be fooled by the fact that he us a boss at the club. he has a side you have never seen before. a side you don't want to meet

Waridi: you still don't trust me with your secrets do you?

Me: it's not that.

Waridi: then what is it,

I got out of bed and wrapped a towel around my waist as I headed to the bathroom to wash my face and freshen up.

I liked waridi but telling her everything wasn't a good idea especially because I wasn't sure if she had really quit her job or it was a game she was playing under faruk's influence.

If there was anything to tell, it would be when I was certain that I could really trust her.

Fifteen minutes later I got out of the bathroom and the bed was already neatly spread. Waridi walked passed me without a word and got into the bathroom to take a shower so I got dressed and later went down for round two of breakfast as i waited for Waridi to get ready.

Waridi got down having won the dress i had bought her and she looked amazing in it. she neatly held her hair back and her lips.. her lips were kissable and quite inviting.

Me: there's some more tea and sausages, i know the exercises must have left you as hungry as i was..

Waridi: I will grab something later on. I'm still full but thank you.

Me: come on girl, are you still mad at me. Am sorry okay...

She picked her bag and started to walk away but I got ahead of her and blocked her way holding her by the waist.

Me: listen, am sorry about how it came out but it's not like I don't trust you. I just don't trust the people around you.

Waridi: by the people around me you mean Clark?

Me: yeah.

Waridi: I told you, you don't have to worry about him. If it comes to me or Faruk he will definitely choose me.

Me: why?

Waridi: because he likes me.

Me: wow! and do you like him back?

She smiled and walked to the table, pulled a chair and sat. She served herself tea and waited for me to join her which I did.

A few minutes into our talk that had not resulted into anything, a call came through my phone and I got up to go get it from the kitchen. It was Faruk.

Me: what?

Faruk: come on don't give me that attitude bro.. this is important.

Me: I'm not your brother Faruk, don't force things. secondly, you have less than five seconds to say whatever you need to say.

Faruk: we need to meet up and talk. There's a problem.

Me: the last time I checked, there was no we and there are no circumstances that has gotten you and I closer enough to have a problem.

Faruk: the DCI are after us, you and me and I hope that gets you interested enough to meet me up.

Me: where?

Faruk: in my office at 11:00am

Me: okay. i will be on my way.

How the hell could the DCI be after us and what did they want?..

i asked myself on my way back to the dining table..
