ALONG CAME JACE

SYLAR I had piano lessons in less than thirty minutes and I was pretty sure I was going to be late. I didn't have the usual thrill I had whenever I would go for the lessons. I haven't felt it in a while, maybe because I didn't need the lessons anymore. I could practically play any piece. Mozart, Beethoven,you name it. With my mind made up I put my car into reverse and headed for Nixton. Nixton was a pretty run down neighborhood known for its crime rate but it also had an abandoned park where I usually went to think and just be at peace. Onlookers would think of my life as perfect or maybe stress free but it's actually the opposite. My mom died of cancer when I was eighteen months old,I was raised by nannies since my father was a pretty busy man. Growing up I saw my father as a god of some sort because of how powerful he was. He always made sure I had everything I wanted. Sometimes he looked lonely and as I grew I found out he missed my mom during those moments. I made a promise to myself to make him proud in every way possible. I was an ideal perfect son. My grades were high and I even had to take advanced classes. My dad would always look at my report card and tell me that I could do better. So I'd always fo back to my books and study harder. But that was then and this is now and I am tired of doing things to please him but it's too late. I gave him the chance and he already planned my whole life. I had a time table for everything. Even for when I had to visit my friends. Anna and Tommy were my closest friends. We did everything together. They were the only ones who knew I liked boys. That's another thing. How do I tell my very homophobic father who has already planned out who I would likely marry that I like guys?
