Makumi was excited and proud, she was starting to have control over her wolf now. Dakota was proud as well.

Dakota led the way and Makumi followed after. The two wolves took off into the night, without a care in the world.
They ran at top speed, leaping over logs and tree stumps, the cold breeze rushing through their nostrils as it filled up their lungs. Makumi felt alive as she howled into the night sky, keeping close markings on Dakota.
"Try to keep up pig!!" Dakota yelled from the front and Makumi laughed, picking up her pace to close the distance between them.
