My heart pounded fiercely within it's bone cage as I remained hidden away from the eyes of my hunters. A pack of wolves against me, would I come out of this alive? It was already hard enough being a hybrid abomination, so why did i have to die here? "come out pig...I'm sure you're already aware of the story about the pigs and the wolf, right? well this is real life...you can run and hide all you want, but your fate has already been sealed by me" one of the wolves snickered, licking his mouth with his coarse tongue I hid myself in the hallowed out part of a tree, desperately praying they wouldn't pick up on the sounds of my racing heart and haggard breathing. "Come on logan,she's not worth it,can't we just..." Before he could finish his complain,he was clawed by his alpha "can't we just what!!!" He growled "this little piggie has eluded me for weeks and now I finally get to have her,yet you dare suggest I...let her go!!! Have you forgotten who your Alpha is or should I show you your place,Roshan?.." there was an icy-chillness attached to his words as he spoke,his amber eyes flashed with warning signs, sending the the other wolf, Roshan to the back of the pack not wanting to anger his alpha further. the rest just remained silent as they continued their search of the girl. "anyone else has any objections?" He asked as he scanned them with narrowed amber eyes. Getting no response he went back to his search "Gaaaah!!! I can smell her,but I can't f*****g pin point her location!! it's scattered all over the place! how!?" He let out a frustrated howl "alpha.." another member stepped out " what!!" Logan growled. "over there.." the wolf signalled towards the hallowed tree, picking up movements from there, a wicked smile came to form on logan's face as he stalked towards the tree "I found you...my delicious piggie friend..." He said in a low undertone, the madness and blood lust were clear from the way he looked my way. I held myself from squealing,but I couldn't stop shaking like a leaf "oh God please don't let me die here,not like this,not now" I prayed in my heart as the tears rolled down my face. Under the full moon,their saliva glistened. This is madness,what could one pig do against five wolves. Should I just give up to fate? No!! I didn't escape the enclosed pig valley just to be haunted down like common prey and get killed,there has to be a way... just as I thought it was all over for me, I heard a heavy thud above my head. From the holes I caught a glimpse of the creature, another wolf?! How lucky could I get ..but this one didn't look like one of logan's wolves. . . . ~~~~ The cold night breeze caressed the new wolf's Black fur like a gentle lover as it swayed with the breeze, the aura that seemed to come off him radiated raw power and by far the most intimidating presence I had ever crossed paths with. It fired warning signs in my head, telling me to run away instantly. There was something, something dangerous in the way he looked at the other wolves, something that told my instincts to make a break for it, to run as far away from there as I could. Where is his pack though? was he perhaps a lone wolf? "Why are you here logan?" After what felt like an eternity,he broke the silence,his voice was deep and a bit hoarse, but it was somewhat attractive. unlike Logan's strident voice, which was loud and unpleasing to listen too. "I'm not here for you Dakota, i just want the pig, so get out of my way" threatened Logan as he took a firm step forward. The new wolf, whose name I learnt to be was, Dakota, didn't show any signs of backing down as he stared at the pack of wolves before him with his unrelenting blue eyes. "I'm afraid that i can not do that, this is my territory and you know the rules, any prey that wanders into my territory is mine for the taking, no matter what it is" he said calmly as his eyes, only for the briefest of moments glanced my way. How did he know I was down here?! didn't he just arrive?! Logan turned agitated....wait!! He said what now!!! Oh no, this was worst for sure. compared to this Dakota, Logan seemed less of a threat. "Don't f**k with me dakota!! I saw her first and you must be out of your mind if you think I'm going to let you have her!!" Roared Logan, his voice scaring off the birds that sat perched in the nearby trees. "both you and your pack are not worth my time, so I'll kindly ask you all to leave my territory.." Dakota Taunted ,which only made logan furious... what is he doing,I've been haunted for the past week or so and I already know this logan does not like to be toyed with. Before I could even blink my eyes, Logan lunged straight at Dakota,but he was slow as Dakota ducked. His speed was terrifying, sending Logan head first into the tree, making it to shake. The battle line had been drawn and seeing their alpha like that, the other wolves instinctively howled as they began to run after Dakota. Logan soon joins in. It seemed like they had history and Not wanting to stay one bit longer I made a break for it,I ran as fast as my little pig legs could carry me,I didn't care that my core was on fire,I didn't care that I was exhausted. I just bolted. ~~~~~~~ Maybe it was my instinct but I just kept running.I needed to get out of this dammed forest. I don't know how long Its been,but I finally stopped to catch my breath, once I was certain I was far away... " This should be far enough" I said to myself as collapsed to the ground "I should change forms first, maybe build a tarp or look for the tallest tree here and hide out..or.." I didn't even have enough time to prepare the basics when I heard something hurrying my way "s**t that was fast... Ugh give me a break universe" Being a hybrid, I was cursed with multiple forms and right now I took on my human form, even though it's not as fast or agile I still had limbs of which I could climb up a tree with. I made a mad sprint cutting through the woods,the sounds of twigs snapping and heavy breathing got closer.. "fuck..fuck..fuck...fuck..fuck..." granny sui would have surely hit me with a stick with the amount of cussing I've been doing. suddenly, Out of nowhere and enormous black wolf tackled me to the ground. this is it, it's over for me... I was trapped with nowhere to run .. "please.." I whispered as I shut my eyes, a single tear drop slid down my red puffy cheeks As I waited for his fangs to dig into my flesh.
