Next Morning

At Malhotra mansion

Kabir comes out of the bathroom and walked into the closet. He wore blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black blazer over it. He comes out of the closet and stood in front of the mirror and made his hair. He took his mobile and opens her image.

“So am I looking handsome?” He asked looking at her image and chuckled himself.

“I don’t know why I am doing this but I like it. I am coming to meet you, L’amour.” He said with a sly smile and placed the mobile in the pocket.

Meanwhile, Parth enters his room and saw his baby brother was getting ready.

“So ready to go, Junior Malhotra?” He asked coming to her.

“Yes, bro. I am just a little nervous.” Kabir said rubbing his palms and he chuckled.

“It’s okay. She may be more nervous than you. Mom, dad, and Navya are waiting for you. Let’s go.” Parth said patting his back and both smile at each other.

Kabir looked at himself last time in the mirror and then left from there.

Aarohi was looking at herself in the mirror and tried to wipe off the nervousness but badly failed. Her heartbeat was increasing with passing time. She was looking beautiful in a plain blue color long sleeves gown.

“God, please help me. I don’t know what is happening to me?” She said closing her eyes and prayed to God.

Just then her brother Sanket enters her room and hugs her from the back.

“Sister, they are here.” He said looking through the mirror and her breath hitched hearing his words.

“Really?” She asked nervously.

“Yes, and I saw him. He is so handsome and hot.” He said sitting in front of her.

A red hue appeared on her cheeks and the pace of her heartbeat increase more.

“Bearbro, you go down.” She said blinking her eyes.

“Ok. Best of luck, sister.” He said kissing her cheeks and left from there.

In the living hall

Kabir was sitting beside Pradeep and talking with him. Navya was licking her lips seeing yummy food and Parth was trying to stop her. Malini looked at her and chuckled.

“Navya, you can eat whatever you want to eat. Feel like your own home.” Malini said with a smile making her happy.

“Really… thank you, aunty. You are so sweet.” She said taking gulab jamun(Indian sweet) bowl and started eating like a kid.

Everyone laughed at her cuteness and Parth shook his head wiping her mouth.

“Malini, where is Aarohi? Call her.” Deepali said looking around for her.

“Sanket, go and bring her down,” Malini said nudging Sanket.

Sanket went up stair to her room and Aaru flinched back in fear.

“Sister, let’s go down,” Sanket said making her stand and grabbed her hand.

She took a deep breath and they went down to the hall where everyone waiting for her. She comes down with Sanket and Kabir averted his gaze on her who was looking simply beautiful. Deepali stood up and walked up to her.

“You are looking so pretty Aarohi.” She said caressing her hair and Aarohi touched her feet.

“No need of this. Whatever answer is yours but you will be always daughter for us.” Deepali said thus she instantly looked up to her surprise.

She smiled at her little and they sat on the sofa. Deepali gave introduce to her everyone and they started talking with each other. Kabir was stealing a glance at her from time to time while she was busy talking with his parents.

After an hour

“Well, we already liked Aarohi when we saw her picture,” Rajiv said.

“Yes, Rajiv is right. We really want Aarohi to be our daughter-in-law.” Deepali said caressing Aarohi’s hair.

“Mom, I also like her a lot. But it depends on our Kabir.” Navya said munching samosas (Indian junk food).

“Okay, then Aaru takes Kabir outside in the garden and talks with each other,” Pradeep said looking at her.

She nodded her head and they stood up from the sofa. Kabir waved his hand at her father and both walked out of the house.

They sat down on the wooden bench keeping distance from each other while she was playing with her fingers.

“So, hello…” He said breaking the silence and rubbed his own palm together.

“Hi…” She said in a low voice.

“So what do you do? I mean study.” He asked.

“MBA last year student.” She replied still looking down at the ground.

“That’s really good. I had also done MBA from London. What do you like to do in your free time?” He asked glancing at her.

“Reading and painting. And you?” She asked for the first time making him smile a little.

“Wowww… I also like reading books. Mostly thriller and mysterious.” He replied thus she looked at him but instantly looked away from him making him chuckle.

They talked with each other while Kabir loved the way she used to blush whenever she replied to him or whenever she asked him something.

“Ok, then let’s go inside.” He said getting up followed by her.

He started walking ahead but stopped and turns toward her.

“Aarohi, I like you when I saw your photo but now… I like you more after talking to you and knowing you. I don’t about your answer but I am hoping for the positive one.” He said caressing her cheek with his knuckle and went inside the house leaving her blushing all red.

Sanket comes there and teased her making her blush more. They went inside and Aarohi went to her room saying her answer in his ear which he squealed in joy.

After an hour

“Kabir, make her wear the ring,” Deepali said giving him ring.

Kabir held her hand sending a shiver in her body and slides the ring in her finger but it does not fit in her finger because they didn’t know about her size.

“Don’t worry. Give it back Kabir and he will take it to the jeweler.” Deepali said giving her a ring.

She slides a ring in his finger without touching his hand and everyone clapped for them. He pulls out the ring from her finger and placed it in his pocket.

"Alright, then lunch is ready. Let's have lunch." Malini said smiling brightly.

"I will help you in serving food, Malini. And I don't want to hear NO from you." Deepali comes forward with a smile and she nodded her head.

Aaru stood up and about to go with them but Deepali stopped her, "Aarohi, stay here. Today, you are my son's queen." She winked at her.

Everyone in the hall laughed and Aaru blushed hard while Kabir shook his head negatively as his mother.

Sanket dragged Aarohi to her room and took her inside the room.

“Brother-in-law, my cricket kit.” He said giving her hand to in his hand.

“You will get it tomorrow,” Kabir said winking at him.

“Thank you, brother-in-law. You’re the best.” He said giving hive-five to him.

Sanket left from there and they sat on the bed. Kabir was still holding her hand and she was blushing as usual.

“Are you happy?” He asked thus she looked at him.

She nodded her head and looked down blushing profusely. He put his finger under the chin and lifts her face.

“Words. I want your words. I know what your eyes and heart speak but I still want to hear it from your mouth.” He said looking into her eyes.

“Y.. ye..yess…” She replied shuttering a little and he rubbed her palm.

“Thank you for saying yes. I promise you won’t regret it.” He said kissing her palm making her blush more.

She just nodded her head looking down and he laughed.

“I guess I am going to have a hard time with your blush. You are cute.” He said pinching her nose and her face turns fully red.

His mobile rings and saw Parth’s missed call.

“Okay, we are going now. See you soon, L’amour.” He said getting up but pulled her closer thus she bumped with his chest.

He took one selfie of them and left from there leaving her all red with blush. She closed the door and hides her face between her palms. His fragrance, his touch, and his naughtiness were making her crazy.

Here, Kabir couldn’t stop smiling at her cuteness. She was looking more beautiful with a blush on her face. He knew he was gone now and there is no way to back off.

A few days later

Aarohi walked downstairs with her bag ready to go to the college and she told her parents that now she was going to stay with them. They also agreed because she was engaged now and they wanted to spend more time with their daughter. Her eyes went widens seeing Kabir and he passed her smile thus she smiles back at him.

“Aaru, Kabir will drop you today. Go with him.” Pradeep said with a smile.

She nodded her head and went to the kitchen. After some time she comes back and they walked out of the house. He opens the door and she sat inside the car. He sat in the driver's seat and started driving the car glancing at her.

“How are you?” He asked focusing on driving.

“Fine. And you?” She asked looking at him.

“I am good after seeing you.” He said winking at her and she instantly looked outside blushing profusely and he laughed.

After half hour he stopped the car outside of the college and removed his seat belt. She looked at him while he was already looking at her.

“Bye…” she said and about to go but he stopped her holding her hand.

“Wait, I have got something for you.” He said slipping his other hand in the pocket and took out her ring.

He slowly slides a ring in her finger and kissed the back of her palm lovingly.

“Now it’s perfect, L’amour.” He said with a smile.

“Thank you.” She said shyly and he rubbed his thumb on her cheek.

“Save it.” He said looking on the back seat and picked up one box and handed her.

She looked at him confusingly and he indicates her to open it. She opens it and found a brand new mobile thus she widens her eyes.

“For you.” He said keeping his hand on her palm.

“I… I can’t take it, Kabir. This is too much.” She said shaking her head negatively.

“It’s an engagement gift from my side. I had already saved everyone’s numbers on your mobile.” He said in a stern voice.

“But Ka…”

He put his finger on her lips and her breath hitched as his finger touched her lips.

“I’m going to spoil you so much that you’ll forget everything around in this world. You’ll just remember me every time. I’m going to fit this in your mind that you’re marrying The Kabir Malhotra. You’ll be my wife soon and I want to do my best for you. Now don’t argue with me over it.” He said looking straight into her eyes and rubbed his thumb on her cheek.

“Thank you.” She said looking at him warmly.

“My pleasure. Now go. Someday I will come to see your college and meet your friends. Today I have work.” He said kissing her forehead and she closed her eyes in pleasure.

“Bye.” She said with a shy smile.

“Bye. The driver will come to pick up you. No arguments.” He said caressing her cheek and she nodded her head positively.

She got out of the car and went into the college. He too left from there after seeing her vanishing inside the college and went to the office.

Aaru stepped into the college pavilion while avoiding other’s gaze as the news of her involving in drugs was already spread by Nisha and her friends. She was their favorite toy with whom they played whenever they want to play. She was lost in her thought when someone blocked her way and she looked at the source.

“So so so Ms drug dealer. How are you feeling after returning to college?” Nisha touched her cheek but she moved back glaring at him.

“Nee, she must have an amazing deal today. What’s say? Do you want some client?” Nisha’s friend commented and they all laughed.

Aaru didn’t say anything and walked past them but someone held her hand making her gasp. She instantly turns and saw Nisha’s friend Ravi was holding her hand.

“Leave my hand.” She struggles her hand to come out of his grip but he comes closer to her.

“Why? Why do you want to go to the class? I fact you can become a perfect pleasure substance for a man like us. You know a w***e who gets nak..” he couldn't complete his sentence as his face welcome a tight pinch on his face.

"What t..."

His face again welcomes another punch and this time with extra force. That person continued to hit his face until Aaru come forward and held his arms.

“Abhi, stop it.” She said pulling him away from Ravi.

“Are you alright?” He asked looking at her concern.

“How dare you to hit my friend?” Nisha growl at him and he gave her a death glare.

“Keep your friend away from my friend and don’t you dare to cross her path again because the conceptions will be worse.” He snapped at them.

Aaru held his arms and dragged him with her.

“Are you alright?” He asked again as they reached the canteen.

“Yes and thank you so much.” She replied with a smile.

Next second she was engulfed by her friends. Girls even cried as babies and boys laughed at them. They sat on the chair and Shiv went to order food for them.
