Their First Date

Next Day

Tanya and Anaya were watching Aaru who was literally eating her nails out of nervousness. Tanya gets frustrated and banged her hands on the table.

“Now enough of eating nails and tell me what happened?” She asked annoyingly.

“Iandkabiraregoingonadate.” Aaru rambled in one breath.

“Whattt?” Both exclaimed.

“Iandkabiraregoingonadate.” Aaru again rambled out.

“Aaru, I swear if you don’t speak on yourself then I will call Kabir,” Anaya warned her.

“No, don’t call him. It just yesterday, he asked me for a date and I said yes.” Aaru bites her lips and covered her face between her palms.

There was a pin drop silent in the canteen and next second both the girls screamed loudly.

“When?” Tanya asked looking excited.

“Tonight and I need your help. I don’t know what to wear.” Aaru mumbled and they hugged her.

“We will help you in dress up. Let’s go home. It will take time to dress you up.” Anaya said packing her bag.

They walked out of the college and sat inside the car while Tanya sent a message boys so they won’t worry about them.

“Aaru, let’s go on shopping. You don’t have any sexy dress.” Tanya said after messing her half of the cupboard.

“No, I will wear anything from it.” Aaru exclaimed going through her clothes.

“Aaru, bu…”

“Aaru, someone gave this packet for you.” Her mother enters her room.

She nods her head before taking the packet and closed the door. She sat on the bed and torn the wrapper and opens the box; only to find a beautiful dress along with a chit. She touched that chit and a smile crept on her lips.

I know this dress is not as beautiful as you but it will suit you for sure. Wrap this cloth around your beautiful frame then come down. The driver will bring you to me.

Your Kabir

“Oh my God!!! This is so beautiful dress, Aaru.” Tanya jumped in happiness.

“He choice is so sexy,” Anaya commented and she blushed.

“Go and wear this.” Tanya pushed her inside the bathroom.

After a few minutes, she comes out and her friends squealed loudly seeing her in that dress. They made her sits in front of the mirror and started making her ready for the date.

She bade bye them and came out of the house. The driver greeted her and opens the door thus she gets inside the car passing him a light smile. The driver seated on the driver seat while one guard sat on the passenger seat. The car was smoothly going on the road and she glued her eyes on the road. She got out of the car as the car stopped and the guard guided her inside the small house. It was a small house yet beautiful with a garden. The guard opens the door and she gave him a small smile before going inside the house. She found the house decorated with red and white balloons and roses. It was beautiful beyond her belief.

She stopped seeing his back and he turns feeling her presence. He checked her top to bottom and she looked down feeling his intense gaze. He walked closer to her and she bites her lower lips shyly. He held her hand and places another hand on her cheek.

“So gorgeous. More than I have imagined.” He whispered kissing her forehead.

“This is beautiful, Kabir.” She pointed at the decorations.

He smiled before planting another forehead on her, “I’m glad you like it.”

“I loved it. Thank you so much.” She kissed his cheek and hugged him.

A few minutes later, her stomach made an unusual sound and they broke the hug. She blushed as he laughed and took her in the middle. He pulled a chair for her and she sits in the chair. He dragged his chair beside her and sat closer to her.

"Open it." He said pointing at the bowl and she opens the lid.

"Pasta. Wowww... I was craving for it as I am on periods." She said excitingly and he looked at her with horror.

She clamped her mouth and turns all red. She covered her face between her palms and blushed profusely making him laugh.

He held her wrists and removed palms from her face but her eyes were tightly closed, "You don't have to feel embarrassed. It's normal between the couple and you can't hide about your menstrual cycle as we are going to marry soon." He rubbed his thumb on her cheek.

"Let's eat." She said shyly and he laughed kissing her head.

"When did you get your periods?" He asked feeding her pasta and she blushed at his question.

"In the evening." She replied blushing profusely and he just smiled a little.

She was still shy under his gaze and when he taught about her periods she even feels shyer the way he was taking care of her. After having dinner he went to place plates while she sat there waiting for him.

"Dance?" He asked forwarding his hand and she held his hand with a shy smile.

They moved in slow rhythm along with soft music running in the background. He was looking at her with an intense gaze but she doesn't have the guts to see in his eyes. Suddenly she closed her eyes and tried to absorb the pain but couldn't and pushed him.

"What th.."

He stopped speaking as he saw her sitting on the floor clutching her stomach. He rushed to her and sat in front of her.

"Are you fine?" He asked worriedly.

"I.. hhh... I... aam..." She groaned in pain and tears rolled down from her eyes.

"Damn... you are not fine. Wait." He said placing his hand on her back and lifted her carefully.

His one hand was under her thighs while the other was holding her arm and he walked out of the terrace. He took her to the room and lay on the bed. He removed her hills and she curls up on the bed clutching her stomach. He removed his blazer and throws on the couch before going out of the room.

He called her friend Anaya and she answered after a few rings, "I need a favor from you, Anaya"

"What brother-in-law?" She asked lazily.

"You know your friend is... umm.. on her periods so pack her clothes which she usually wears when she feels down. You know what I mean?" He said fighting with words because it's easy to talk with Aaru but not with Anaya.

Anaya felt so happy for her best friend because she got someone like Kabir who cares for her so much, "I get brother-in-law, don’t worry I will pack what she needs. But with whom I send?" She asked.

He sighs in relief, "Just send them with my guard Mason. He knows the address. And her parents..."

"Don't worry, I will call her father and tell him that you dropped her at my house because you had to an important meeting." She replied understanding her dilemma.

"Thank you, Anaya. See you tomorrow." He hangs and went to the kitchen.

After twenty-five minutes, he came back with a bag and kept the bag on the couch.

He walked to the bed and sat beside her and caressed her hair, "Love." but she whimpers in pain.

He rubbed her arm, "Love, I know you are in pain but please look at Me." she slowly turns toward him and laying on her back.

Tears brimmed in her eyes seeing him, "I.. I am sorry... for ruining our date." She lowers her voice shedding tears and he wiped her tears.

He frowns shaking his head, "Ssshhh... just keep quiet. How dare you think that this f*****g date is important than your health? Nothing is more important than your health." And then he helped her sitting on the bed.

"I didn't mean that. It's our first date and you wanted to spend time with me but my..."

He instantly stopped her from speaking placing his finger on her lips, "No more words. We are together. Now go and change your clothes. There is something for you in that bag."

She got out of the bed and went inside the bathroom taking the bag. She opens the bag and found sanitary napkins and her panties along with loose shorts but didn't find any t-shirt or top. She put the bag on the sink and walked out of the bathroom.

"What happened? Why you didn't change?" He asked worriedly walking up to her.

"Umm... uhh... there is no t-shirt inside the bag." She replied blushing and not looking at him.

"She must be forgotten to put one." He mutters underneath of breath and started opening his shirt's button which she widens her eyes.

"What are you doing?" She asked shockingly and he placed his shirt in her hand.

"Wear this." He said squeezing her hands.

She blushed to see his naked chest and looked away, “But what about you?" Her voice was like a whisper.

He notices her red cheeks and held her arm pulling closer, "I will manage without it and I don't mind roaming half-naked around you." He winked at her and she ran into the bathroom blushing profusely.

He laughed at her cuteness and went from there thinking something about her. After a few minutes, he comes back and sat on the bed waiting for her to come out. He pulled out his mobile and starts looking through the emails.

Ten minutes later, the door opens and he lifted his gaze to see her. She walked out of the bathroom and saw looked at him who was starring at her without a blink. She places her dress on the couch and walked to the bed.

"Lay down." He said pulling her and made her lay on the bed.

"What are you doing?" She asked holding his hand as he started lifting her shirt.

"Just lay down and let me do my work. Don't worry; I won't do anything that makes you uncomfortable." He said assuring and she left his hand.

He put a hot water bag on her stomach and she closed her eyes absorbing the pain. He smoothly rolls the bag on her stomach making her feel light and her body started feeling relaxed. Her eyes gave up and didn't realize when sleep overtook her sense. He stopped massaging hearing her soft snores and pulls down shirt.

"Sleep well, my love." He said caressing her hair and kissed her forehead.

He covers her with a blanket and went to the couch. He lay there looking at her face and closed his eyes welcoming sleep.

Aaru stirred in the sleep and sat on the bed opening her eyes. She checked the time, 2.45 in the morning and her eyes fell on Kabir who was sleeping on the couch. Her heart swells with respect for him after remembering how took care of her. What a girl wants from her partner that he respects her and takes care of her when she needs him? She got down from the bed and went inside the bathroom.

After freshen up she comes out and went near the couch. She sat on her knees and moved his fallen hair and touched his face admiring him. She rubbed her thumb on his cheek and he opens his eyes feeling her touch. Their eyes get locked with each other and he held her hand which was resting on his cheek.

“Are you alright?” He asked as a worried line creased his forehead.

“I am fine and thank you for taking care of me.” She replied bringing her face closer to his and kept her forehead on his forehead.

“Anything for you. Now go and sleep.” He said sitting on the couch and she stood up from the floor.

She thinks something and passed him a smile before opening her mouth, “We can share the bed. You know it’s big enough.” She said.

He starred at her for a second and his lips broke down in a smile as he shook his head negatively and took the hold of her hands, “No, I am okay there. I know you trust me enough but wait till we get married.” He kissed her knuckles.

She smiled brightly and kissed his forehead and whispered, “Good night, Kabir.”

“Good night, baby.” He lay back on the couch and she went back to the bed.

They lost in each other eyes and sleep overtook their sense.

Next Morning

Aaru got down the stairs after dressing in loose pants and a t-shirt which he had placed on the couch for her. She went to the kitchen and saw him making coffee.

"Good morning." She said walking up to him and he looked at her.

He kissed her forehead, "Good morning, how're you feeling?" He asked touching her cheek.

She smiled seeing his care, "Better than yesterday. What did you make for breakfast?"

"Cinnamon rolls as you must be craving for something sweet, French toast and blueberry muffins. I hope it's enough." He said pointing at the breakfast while her eyes went wide.

"Oh, God!!! This is too much Kabir. Thank you so much." She said jumping on him and kissed his cheeks while he laughed holding her carefully.

"Careful, L'amour." He said placing her on Iceland's stool and sat beside her.

She blushed at her previous action and hides her face between palms making him laughed aloud.

He moved to her ear, "It's ok. I'm yours only. You've full right on me."

His words make her blush more and she hit his chest playfully.

"How can you cook so much for me? I mean it's who should cook." She said feeling sad; blames her mood.

"Hey, it's okay. I mean I can at least cook 2-3 days till you get well. It's no big deal right." He said shrugging his shoulder and tears brimmed in her eyes.

"I am actually lucky to have you in my life. I can't ask for much more than these." She said wiping her tears and he kissed her forehead.

"You don't have any idea what I get in return. Now let's eat before it gets cold." He said making her eat rolls.

She hadn't tasted anything better snack before because it's made by her fiancé and she can eat this forever. He hadn't any idea what impact he was leaving on her by his simple care because for him; she was his world and he can do anything for her. The journey has just started....
