I felt wetness on my cheeks. Is it raining? I opened my eyes to see a teary golden-eyed dragon staring right back at me. "Human! I thought you're never waking up Huhuhu. " It said hugging me and crying nonstop. "Shhhh...I'm here okay?" I said petting its head. My past life was dull and boring. Reading novels and watching anime are what's keeping me entertained. One day, I was running down the staircase when I slipped on a banana peel and fell. Who said you need truck-kun to isekai? When I woke up, I was in a middle of a battlefield.It was a war between two kingdoms- The Louisse Kingdom and Montreal Kingdom. A black dragon appeared and stopped the time. She told me to take care of its baby because she was dying. She fought the two kingdoms to distract them and let me escape with her baby. Well I guess this is better than my past life. "By the way, what happened? And where are we?" I asked while sitting up. "After you fainted in the meadows of Mystic Plains, I carried you to this abandoned Villa with the help of my powers." the baby dragon on lap replied Hmmmm... Although the Villa is full of cob webs and dust, it's still a good place to stay. I wonder what happened to the owner? "Human! Are we gonna live here?" the baby dragon my lap asked with sparkling eyes. "Well since there's nobody owning this Villa , I guess we could take for ourselves?" I said a bit hesitant but that made the baby dragon happy. I guess he likes this place. "By the way, stop calling me 'Human'. I have a name you know?" I said poking its head. "What is it?" "Charlotte Claremont. But just call me Lotte." I said "How about you? What's your name?" I asked the baby dragon "I don't have one." he pouted "Want me to give you one?" "Really?!?" "Sure, Why not?" Hmmm...A name for a baby dragon. If only Google existed here it would've been easier. sighs* Then I look at those golden orbs sparkling at me. Gold. Gold is 'Aurum' in Latin. How about that? "Aurum" I said unconsciously "Aurum? I love it!" The baby dragon said cheerfully "Do you want to use my surname?" "Aurum Claremont ?" "Yeah, if you don't mind that is." " Aurum Claremont. Yes! I am the great and mighty, Aurum Claremont!" the baby dragon puffed his chest while he boasted about his name. "Okay, from now on you are now Aurum Claremont." "THE GREAT AND MIGHTY, AURUM!" I just chuckled at his cuteness then pinch his cheeks. "Ow!" "Since we're living now in this Villa, how about let's clean up a bit. We wouldn't want our home to be dirty now would be?" "The great and mighty Aurum does not live in a dirty place! Lotte! Let's start cleaning now!" he said as he fly over where the broom is. I just chuckled at his childishness and followed after him. And so, we began cleaning until nightfall.
