Niam hasn't stopped laughing since Alaric told him that Andromeada is his mate. He also keeps pointing and saying, "I told your ass."
Alaric is sitting on the edge of his desk, staring at his Beta. "I'm glad you can laugh about this. I never thought Andromeada was my Luna. I would have made it a point to be nice to her and not avoid her.
"Nice, my ass. You're never nice to anyone." Niam manages to say through his laughing.
Alaric ignores that and tells Niam how much he and Spartan wanted to rip Mikkos, and Brandon heads off. That was so f****d up what they tried to do. Fortunately, they failed. If they had, we would be at war right now. That would be one dead ass king and his little mini me." He chuckled, "My mate is one hell of a fighter. Human, my ass. There isn't one thing human about her. Before you ask me what she is. I have no idea. Fearless, she's fearless. Mikkos's wolf, I thought I saw fear in his eyes. The more I think about it, I'm sure I saw fear in the big, bad, ruthless king. I guess since he was poisoned, he'll make that fool Brandon the king soon."
Niam scratches his head ." Maybe I'm a little slow. Are you thinking about accepting your enemy as your Luna?"
He nods. She and I may be enemies, but the Moon Goddess created us for each other. Andrmeada may reject me because of my friendship with Brandon. Maybe that is the reason she has never liked me. The more I think about it, I haven’t done anything to her. Send some warriors to town to search for Andromeada. She has to be staying there since she’s King Mikkos daughter. He may be a d**k, but I don’t believe he would want her too far from him. Scratch that last part. The man I saw today doesn’t love his own flesh and blood."
"Man, you've got your work cut out for you." Niam pats his shoulder and leaves the office.
"I have a feeling I'm going to need a lot of luck.' Alaric rubs his chin. "Maybe Andromeade and I could come up with an agreement that would benefit both of us. That is, if she rejects me. "

Brandon is still at the Moonlite Pub with Pablo and Cheick, drinking. He told the two men about the challenge and how his father lied to his sister. He and his mother had a plan to pay someone to kill Andromeada. But when their father held the competition. They thought for sure that would be the end of her. Neither one expected that she knew how to fight.
“What is taking your old man so long to die? Was that poison weak? Maybe that old crone tricked you?” Cheick points at Brandon with a beer.
“I was wondering the same damn thing. Mother said she thought he would be dead by now. But that old goat doesn’t seem to be getting weak. I don’t know how Andromeada knew about our father’s condition. She doesn’t live here.” Brandon is looking around. Someone in the palace must have told her. When I find her spy, he or she is dead.”
Pablo, looking at eight men entering the pub, points at them, "Aren't those warriors of the Bloodvenom Prowlers pack? They seem to be searching for someone. "
Brandon narrowed his eyes, watching the warriors. "Yes, they are. Who in the hell are they looking for? Alaric hadn't mentioned anything had happened earlier." His thoughts went to Alaric's attitude toward him after the competition. "Don't overthink it. My Father will die soon, and I'll be the king. I'd better head back to the palace." He cut his eyes at the warriors. Brandon doesn't want the warriors to see him with Cheick and Pablo.
Alaric knew that Brandon had a thing about rogues. He had never approved of that. But they had been friends since they were little. Alaric warns him all the time not to overstep his boundaries becasue one day they may become enemies.
All of the warriors saw Brandon and reported it to Alaric. One of the warriors walks over to Brandon to speak. So he'll know they saw him, and their Alpha knows about him drinking with two of the men Alaric hates the most.

Aphrodite is concerned about her daughter; she wants to be there with her. But knows Andromeada can take care of herself. She wants to know more about Dorian. When she met Mikkos, she was hesitant about having anything to do with him. She had heard Mikkos was ruthless. But she never expected him to be a male chauvinist pig. He made sure to keep that side hidden until the night their daughter and Brandon were born.
When he left her and Andromeada to go to Dorian for Brandon's birth, he lied to her. Mikkos found his mate three months after he started a relationship with Aphrodite. Mikkos refused to mark Dorian because he knew he wouldn't be faithful to her. His heart belongs to Aphrodite. He had hope she would give him a male heir. If so, he planned to reject Dorian.
She noticed how different he sounded when she called to ask when he was coming back. Aphrodite appears at the palace using her invisibility power. That’s when he discovered all of Mikkos ' deception and lies. That was the day she decided it was time to return to Mount Olympus. It was the first time Aphrodite's heart was broken, and she went back to her old ways when it came to men. They're nothing but toys to her. Her father and siblings helped raise Andromeada. Aphrodite was surprised by her family's acceptance of her daughter. She and her siblings are always at odds with one another. If she had to be honest about it, they hate each other.
Athena agrees with Ares and Hades about their niece staying in Minneapolis, close to Brandon and Dorian. But mostly Mikkos since Andromeada didn't back down from him. She challenged him in front of the Council, royal pack members, and all the Alphas.

The following morning, Andromeada thought it was time for her to visit her father. When she enters the palace, all eyes are on her. She gives them a stern stare, “Boo.” Andromeada chuckled when the staff scattered and some bumped into each other and fell. “assholes.” She mumbles and walks to her father’s office.
Mikkos couldn't sleep last night. Every time he closed his eyes, he would hear Aphro telling him how disappointed she was in him. Also, Catwulf's powerful growl. He looks up when the door.
"Surprised to see me." Andromeada walks into the office, looking at him and Niam, who is standing up.
Adir was leaving. That is, until Andromeada told him to sit down; she wanted to hear what she had to say. He doesn't want to be there. This is a different Andromeada than the one he knew. This one seems stronger, fearless, and dominating.
Mikkos stares at her. "Yes, I am. What have I told you about that showing up like that?
She sits down. "Why should I listen to a man who deceived me. I hope you, your worthless mate, and conspirator. In case you're wondering who the conspirator is, that would be your pride and joy, son. I made it clear what Dorian is.
"How dare you speak of your brother that way?" He slams the desk with both hands.
"Half-brother." Andromeada smirks, "Dare me. You're in no position to dare me. I'm only here to inform you that you'll be sorry when everything is revealed. Also, I'm taking what is rightfully mine. I don't care who I have to kill to get it. It's my birthright, not Brandon. Your beloved son is a joke. I can beat his ass with one hand tied behind my back and blindfolded. " She stood up and pointed at him. "You may be the king and my father, but you're no better than I am. Power. You haven't seen power yet, but you will." She walked toward the door. "You all thought what you saw yesterday was something. Wait to see what I'll do next. Oh, you want to know when I received my wolf. When I was eight months old. Her name is Catwulf. No, my mother isn't human. As for what she is. You'll never know unless she wants you to know. By the way, Andromeada means ruler of men. People say two heads are better than one. We'll find out soon if that is true. " Andromeada chuckles. "I seriously doubt it."
"Damn," Adir says when the door closes behind Andromeda, "What the hell have you opened. Your quiet daughter is no longer quiet. I believe I heard more in these few mintues than all the years I've known her."
Mikkos scratches his head, staring at the door. “Aphro isn’t human. What the hell is she? I only smelled human. Vampire, that has to be. Power, there isn’t anyone more powerful than me.”
“Are you sure about that? Andromeada seems to think there is. That young lady isn’t going to back down, and what your second-born child takes a damn thing from her. We all know she has a right to challenge Brandon for the title. If it doesn’t come to a war, that will happen, and you and Dorian can’t interfere. Even if she kills him." Adir looks at the moving drapes and thinks there isn’t any wind. He’s brought out of his thoughts when Mikkos yells his name.
Mikko wants to know what Andromeada meant about Brandon. And if he had any new information about the person who poisoned him. Adir said nothing new. It seems as if the person covered their tracks.
