One of the staff members had rushed to inform Dorian that Andromeada was in the King’s office. Dorian hurried downstairs and waited down the hall for her. When she saw Andromeda walking toward her, she waited until Andromeda was closer to her, then stepped out in front of her.
“I was wondering where the mother snake would make an appearance.” Andromeada folded her arms, looking into Dorian’s eyes. “Say what you have to say. I’m sure it’s not important. Just hot air as always.”
Dorian leans close to her ‘You will never be queen. Your mother was and is nothing to Mikkos. I’m his true mate. Everyone refers to you as the bastard child.”
“My mother was your mate’s true love. Whereas for you, you had to be created by someone for him to have feelings for you. If it wasn’t for the Moon Goddess, my jerk father would have never looked or taken you into his bed.” Andromeada leans back, looks into her eyes, and smirks. "I know you hate me, becasue I hate you too. Every time you see me, you think about Mikkos making love to my mother because he wanted to. Not because he has to like you."
"b***h," Dorian yells and swings at Andromeada's face.
Andromeada caught her hand and slapped her with her other hand. A loud crackling sound echoes throughout the palace. Dorian is on the floor, knocked out with her face bleeding. She looks down at Dorian, "Stupid woman, you're no match for my mother or me. Weak ass shifter."
Mikkos and Niam had come out of the office at the tail end of the conversation. They're staring at her in disbelief. Mikkos is rubbing his face from the pain coming from Dorian. "I've never felt pain like this before."
A growl comes from the stairwell. Brandon shifts into Striker and leaps off the stairs at Andromeada. She catches Striker in mid-air, then slams him to the floor, causing it to crack.
Andromeada looks at her father and Mikkos, "Tell your son and his mother that if they attack me again, I won't show them any mercy. If you want to average these two contemptible, then add your name to the list." She looks at her watch, "I'm late for lunch with my Mother." Andromeada disappears.
Adhir shook his head, pointing at the cracked floor. "Your old ass is strong. But I don't believe you or me is that strong."
"No, my daughter has me, and Gandolf beat on strength. What is Aphro that she and I would create a powerful daughter?" Mikkos is looking at Striker and Dorian.
"Hell if I know. But that's a good question." Niam walks back into the office.

Aphrodite looks at the sun. “That child is never late for anything. It must have something to do with that sperm donor,” she sips her herbal tea.
“I’m sorry I’m late, Mother,” Andromeada says as soon as she appears in the chair across from her mother. “My business took a little longer than I expected.” She drinks some of the tea. “Ashwagandha tea, Mother really.”
Her mother motioned for her to drink more.”Stress. We can’t have you stressed. It will help you stay balanced. I take it the reason you’re late has something to do with Mikkos.”
“Oh yes. He and his two trashy fools.” Andromeada says before she tells her mother all the details of this morning's event at the palace. She hesitated when she got to the part about her disappearing act.
"Good. That will give those fools a lot to think about.” Aphrodite laughs, “ Now eat your ambrosia and nectar.”
“Yes, Mother,” Andromeada says as she starts to eat, then stops when her mother asks for an update on finding her mate.
Aphrodite is eating ambrosia. " You haven't looked for him or her. You should really look for your mate. Sweetheart, we all need love. You're not the daughter of the Goddess of Love for nothing. Your brothers and sisters are all in relationships."
"When I return to Minneapolis, I'll pencil in finding my mate as second on my list." She sits back, eating a nectar, hoping her mate isn't a cruel person. If he is, she'll reject or kill him." Andromeada chuckles, thinking about killing her mate.
Her mother shook her head. She knew her daughter wasn’t going to look for her mate. She may have to intervene soon. Then she frowns, thinking about how Dorian and Brandon attempted to attack her precious baby girl.

Alaric decided he should travel to netural territory, hoping to find his mate. But he tells Niam that he needs some air and wants to see if Pabli and Cheick are hanging out. Cheick and Pablo have managed to avoid Alaric so far. It seems as if they know when Alaric and Niam are coming to the netural territory.
When they arrived in town, Alaric went to the pub where his warriors saw Brandon. Niam has a feeling that Alaric wants to get his hands on Brandon since the challenge.
Damn it.” Alaric sits at the bar, looking around. “Today isn’t my day. Look who just walked in.”
Niam looks up and sees a tall, average-looking woman with brown hair and eyes. "You got that right, today isn't your day. Here she comes."
“Maybe today was the wrong day to come here.” Alaric mumbles and frowns, “Why this horrible woman instead of my mate?”
The blonde walks beside Alaric, “Alpha Alaric, today is my lucky day. If I had known you were here, I would have come earlier.”
“Go away, Giada.” Alaric looks across the pub. “Don’t make me embarrass you.”
Giada smells “Alaric, why are you playing hard to get? You know I’ve always liked you.” She leans close to his ear, “Just one night is all I’m asking, you’ll never want me to leave.” Gaida rubs Alaric’s arm, and she almost falls when he pushes her away.
Everyone in the pub laughs at her; she's gripping the bar to stop her fall. Then gasps when they hear a loud growl, but don’t see where it came from.
Giada screams when someone yanks her off the floor, and she’s dangling in the air.
“Stay away from my mate.” The invisible Andromeada says and throws the screaming Giada out the window.
"What the hell?” Niam looks at the broken window. He looks at Alaric, who’s smiling. “What are you smiling about? Did you not just see what happened? What is your damn mate?”
Alaric smiles harder. "Yes, I saw what happened. Andromeada knows we’re mates. She’s jealous. I like that. Soon, my mate and I will be face-to-face." He chuckles, he knows she's still there becasue her intoxication scent is strong.
Andromeada's is still invisible, standing at the other end of the bar, absorbing that the man she has disliked for years is her mate.

Mikkos commanded everyone not to move Dorian and Brandon. And bring them to him when they wake up. He didn’t know they would be knocked out for hours. He has been waiting patiently in the den for them. Mikkos is replaying everything that has occurred over the last few days. “If Aphro isn’t human, she has to be a hybrid. Witch and vampire. Yes, that's it. She hid her scent from me. Why would she do that?”
"Miikos, that daughter has lost her damn mind. Did you see what she did to our son and me?” Dorian yells as she enters the den.
Brandon is limping behind her. “I demand justice. Father, mother is right. Andromeada has gone off the deep end.”
"Correct me if I'm wrong. Brandon, you attacked your sister first. Dorian, I was informed that my daughter was protecting herself. You'll think again before you try to slap her. Listen up and listen well. Just becasue I won't bestow her the title queen doesn’t mean that I don’t love her. Stay away from Andromeada.” Mikkos waves them out of the den.
Dorian is fuming, looking at her son limping. "It seems your father has a soft spot for that b***h. Contact your friends to search for that thing. If they find her, kill her after they are done with her.”
Brandon asks why it's taking his father so long to die. Maybe the witch tricked them. He wants her to call the witch because she lied to them. Dorian has been wondering the same thing. Also, the witch told her that Mikkos would be dead within two days. And it has been weeks since she pricked his finger and cleaned the wound with poison.
