About 3000 years ago in a faraway and distant kingdom called maharashmati,there was a wealthy man who was second to none in wealth and prestige in the entire kingdom. Even the king pemuba accorded him great respect, he in fact controlled every happenings in the kingdom, this man was xiniru by name he was a an old man of about 70 years old despite all his riches and fame,he never had a son and this made him to be sad. all the medicine men and sorcerers he had seen In order to know the problem with him; told him that there was nothing wrong with him, he wept every night out of sorrow wishing that a miracle could happen but it was never forthcoming. to him all hope was lost and he started making plans to make his chief slave by name "medinabo" who had been faithful to him for many years his heir. when the chief slave heard about the plans,he could not wait and was so full of joy. he sent a message throughout the kingdom urging the most beautiful girls in the kingdom to come for a dancing competition. on the day of the competition, a girl by name ngono danced so well that he chose her over others, the girl never wanted to marry him she came because her parents were pestering her to go because they were so poor and wanted to escape from poverty through her. medinabo visited her parents and told them that he would like to get married to their daughter,they joyfully agreed and requested for time to persuade her to accept his request,he gave them lots of gifts and animals and even promised to come visiting again. xiniru was made the prime minister of the kingdom by the king in hope that there would be close ties between both of them and their families, xiniru helped the kingdom in facilitating more trade with neighbouring kingdoms, he also built roads linking various parts of the kingdom, he advocated for more freedom for the commoners and also for gradual freedom for the slaves. he did all this and more using his own money and influence, the king pemuba supported him in all this except the gradual freedom for the slaves which he was reluctant in agreeing to,he felt that in every society slaves were supposed to be in existence in order to facilitate in the day to day running activities in the society.he partially supported him because he could not imagine a kingdom without a man as influential. as xiniru. medinabo visited the parents of the girl he wanted to marry in order to ascertain whether they had succeeded in convincing her but he was shocked to hear that she was not moved at all by his kindness towards her family. he left in anger and went back to his own palace which he specially built in consent with his master xiniru. "I need the scorpions to carry out an assignment for me" he said to his right hand man who was known as sirossa. "Master medinabo, they may ask for payment" he replied. "I don't care, get someone who has close ties with them for me" he said. "OK sir" sirossa bowed and left. The scorpions were an assassin group that had a rich and bloody heritage passing from generation, the group was founded by hirotamo who was alleged to be a human god and this group worshiped his image. the scorpions were founded about 500 hundred years earlier in mount jumojumo which was alleged to be a sacred ground by the scorpions. this group had been responsible for the death of over five Kings deaths in the past and they were reckoned as immajulto meaning " the silent murderers ". the group was alleged to be able to penetrate anywhere no matter how highly protected the place was. When sirossa left, medinabo called some of his men and told them that they should get ready for any attack, they were perplexed and asked him who were the people planning an attack he told them that he didn't knew but he received an information about an impending attack. when his men left, he busted into serious laughter and said to himself" fools,that's how they are been deceived, anyway it's a plan to clear my name from the impending attack on ngono and her family. sirossa came back with a man who claimed to be caissado the alleged leader of the scorpions. "you are welcome to this palace caissado" medinabo said pouring out wine into two gold cups. "thanks so much for your hospitality, but what is the mission all about? caissado said leaning towards medinabo in an hushed tone. " fine fine" medinabo said clapping his hands. "the mission is about a mentally deranged young girl who has refused to get married to me despite the fact that i brought her family out of poverty, her name is ngono I want she and her parents to be eliminated quickly". caissado laughed out very loud and said " a girl? that's sounds ridiculous, I don't kill any kind of person, I kill only experienced fighter's but anyway my men would carry out the mission without failures ". medinabo looked at him for a while and said " can I trust your men ". " what the hell!! do not underestimate my men " caissado said angrily. "watch your tongue caissado,beware you are in the presence of the future second in command in this kingdom, your payment for carrying out the mission is 300 pieces of gold and as I can assure you also 30bags of rice" medinabo said. "what!! all that for three heads? fine, payment first" caissado replied. "OK,fine I hope I can trust you on this, if it's successful we gonna do business together in the future" medinabo answered. "sure,the scorpions never fails" caissado concluded while standing up to leave. caissado gathered his men together in preparation for the looming attack they were to carry out, he made his right hand man koralto the acting leader of the group in order to lead the attack in his place before he would come. koralto was perplexed because he was the reason why ngono refused to get married to medinabo because both of them were in a secret relationship. he left in order to give her the details of the attack and also to tell her to leave for her safety but he never knew that caissado saw him when he was leaving and immediately ordered his men to follow him in order to know where he was headed to. when koralto got to ngono's house, he saw only her father whom he told everything and urged him to run for his life and he quickly went out to look for ngono in order to tell her also. the men who were on his trail quickly left in order to deliver the news of what was happening to their leader caissado. koralto saw ngono and quickly told her everything urging her to leave for her safety promising to bring her father to her but she refused and said that she wanted to see her father,koralto accompanied her back in order to help them. when he got there,he was helping them as fast as he could in getting their things ready but they were so unfortunate for when they wanted to leave, men wearing red with black turbans started entering the compound and lo and behold, they were being led by caissado himself. koralto was shocked and could not move, "you traitor! you betrayed your men simply because of a woman" caissado barked angrily at him. "my lord,please you can just kill me and spare their lives" koralto knelt with tears rushing down his face. "kill him and both of them" caissado shouted to his men. his men rushed forward pulling out their swords,koralto pulled out his and rushed towards them he fought bravely but they were too strong for him and soon he became fatigued. he was captured and he watched with tears as ngono's father head was severed from his body and her mother w as killed by dismembering her body. he struggled to free himself but he could not, he shouted and pleaded with caissado to spare ngono and take him instead but caissado just laughed and called him a mentally deranged young fool who sacrificed his prestige for an ordinary girl. "what's the difference between her and other girls that you sacrificed your prestige for her? caissado rhetorically asked. he turned towards his men and told them to bring ngono forward, she tried struggling but she was very weak compared to them. " Now watch as your beauty dies before you "caissado said while laughing at koralto. ngono's head was severed from her body and koralto busted into tears urging them to kill him also." I am going to kill you because you betrayed your men and broke the oath that binds all of us here together " caissado said to koralto. caissado raised his sword up and severed the head of koralto from his body and he ordered his men to burn down the compound which they quickly did before leaving. when medinabo heard about the onslaught, he was very happy but he pretended to be sober and sad in order to deceive the people. he gave the deceased a kind of burial that was never seen in the kingdom before. Just only about two weeks after this incident, xiniru wife by name yeomeol died while giving birth to a baby boy, the birth of the baby was accompanied by serious lightening and thunder throughout the night, the next morning the news had spread to both far and near about the birth of a child in xiniru's palace. the child was named "Anitase" by his father xiniru who was heartbroken by the death of his wife but was relieved by the birth of his son whose name "Anitase" meant hope.
