Elena's POV
"Joshua, please stop the car!" I was starting to get worried now, my heart beating so fast. "Stop the car--!"
The car roared into a halt now. Now I could breath well again. I turned to look at him and found him smiling. "It's not funny, I was so terrified! You embarrassed me in front of everyone."
He looked stunned for a while and even scoffed. Then, his expression softened. "I'm sorry." He was still staring at me.
I couldn't hide the anger that formed on my face. I was so worried, so scared...
"I know you're upset, I-I’m sorry. I tried to protect you. I was scared and I didn't want you to get hurt."
"Scared?"
"Look at the way he was treating you, Elena. I didn't want you to get hurt! I guess I overreacted."
