"That's insulting, Bruce. Really insulting." I flashed him a side eyes and the others were laughing now. It was the next day after being completely humiliated by Elena and her new husband.
I still couldn't believe it that she would just walk out of my life so easily...so fast without any warning at all!
"One moment, I'll be right back." I got up to receive the call. It was from Maya again. "Yes, Maya?"
"I did as you asked and reached out to the manager of Greenwood hotel and he said there was a misunderstanding."
"Of course there was!" I rolled my eyes. I had called the manager threatening him to get me back the hotel. Elena was not going to win, never.
"Alright sir. The team are heading over there now for decorations and planning."
