Lexi always knew she was different she didn't have anyone except her mother growing up, she was home schooled and never had any friends. What she didn't know was what her mother was a desendant of a very powerful witch. This witch had pledged hers and her desendants alliegence to the vampires for eternity. Before Lexi's 16th birthday her mother had confessed about who she was and who she hoped Lexi would become, but Lexi wasn't convinced. Unfortunatly before she could make her decision she got bitten by a werewolf, her mother was furious and in a fit of rage took down the Alpha of there pack, the werewolfs. With no where to turn Lexi had no choice but to go to the vampires for help, there witches decided to turn her into a hybrid and use her to help them win the war between the wolfs and the vamps.

Chasing my tail
Lexi Chase ran through the abandoned warehouse, her small petite frame pushing itself to move faster, the warehouse smelt of death and decay. As she passed rotting bodies that littered the ground and blood stained walls she knew this had been a nesting ground at one point. She could see clearly even though the place was dark and murky, the smell made her nose itch but she was still hot on the tail of the filthy mutt. She chased the perpetrator into a dead end, the wolf looked at Lexi trying not to show fear as his life hung in the balance. “Where is Axel? Tell me and I will let you live” she threatened, her ice cold blue eyes looking into his very soul “I'm dead either way b***h, I'd rather die than betray my master by being a rat” he barked, his black eyes cold and unwavering. Lexi studied him for a moment, could he be persuaded? She rushed at the wolf her claws out ready to rip him limb from limb, yet he still showed no fear. These were the rogues she hated the most! He raked his razor sharp claws against the concrete wall and awaited impact, Lexi ducked down low as she reached him and slashed the backs of his knees causing him to crash into the ground, she kicked his ribs with such force there was a loud crack followed by his blood curdling shriek. She lifted him from the ground by his scruffy black hair and held him high so he could see into her ice cold blue eyes “last chance mutt, tell me where I can find Axel or I will end your pathetic life now” she seethed through gritted teeth, although he was riving in pain he spat at Lexi “never” he managed to cry out. Her sharp claws tore out his heart and she dropped him to the floor. It had been like this for weeks now, she would travel from one s**t hole to the next and chase down these vermin only to have to kill them due to there loyalty to Axel. Lexi set the body on fire and made her way out of the old, dank warehouse. Once outside she walked to a near by lake and washed the blood from her hands, she stretched out her nimble yet toned body, rolling her shoulders and cracking her neck. Time was running out and she needed to find someone anyone that would talk, she rummaged through her large back pack to find her magic compass. Maybe she would drop lucky this time and actually find Axel rather than another one of his pets, the compass pointed west she collected her things and began the walk west in hopes of finding the monster that ruined her life! Lexi travelled until dusk her body aching and feet sore from the long journey she had been on, up ahead she saw a neon light that read motel. Walking into the office the door made a ding sound to alert the owner of her presence, an old man that was balding came from the back. His small brown beady eyes roamed her body greedily, he licked his lips before meeting with her eyes Lexi felt a cold shiver run down her spine but she pushed on her fakest smile “Good evening sir, do you have any rooms available?” she asked in her forced polite voice, the old man smiled which showed his deep wrinkles “certainly miss, how long do you plan on staying?” he questioned with a lingering look in his eyes “just for the night I will be gone at dawn” she replied, his smile faltered momentarily he reached over to his wall of keys he passed one to Lexi, she paid the man and left the office. Walking along the deserted dirt track that lead to her room, Lexi couldn't help but feel uncomfortable to be staying in a place like this. Since the war whenever she meets a man they look at her with lust filled eyes, it always gives her the creeps but the world is different now it's kill or be killed. She opened the door to the compact, musty smelling motel and dropped her bag on the end of the worn out looking bed. She needed to shower and change her blood stained clothes, so that's exactly what she did. She let the hot water soothe her tired aching muscles as she washed her hair and scrubbed at the blood that remained on her skin, it had been days since she had showered and longer still since she had slept. Whilst rinsing herself off she heard the click of the motel door, she moved at such a speed to cover herself in a towel that if you blinked you would miss it. She stayed in the bathroom awaiting the invaders attack, she had purposely left the water of the shower running in hopes that who ever had entered her room would have there guard down. As expected the bathroom door opened and the seedy looking old man entered, before he could see Lexi she had him in a headlock squeezing the life from his body “why are you here” she growled at the man, he was patting her arm trying to get released from her strong hold. She slacked her arms only enough for him to answer “I tried knocking several times, I only wanted to bring you extra blankets as it gets cold at night in these old rooms” he squeaked, she knew he was lying if he had knocked she would of heard him. She dragged his scrawny ass into the bedroom of the motel and saw there were no blankets “bullshit” she seethed tightening her hold on the old man once again, “please, please, let me go, I'm sorry I didn't think, its been so long since I've seen a woman, and your such a pretty little thing you cant blame me for wanting you” he croaked out, he had admitted that he had planned on taking advantage of her and with that she snapped his neck like a twig. If there was one thing Lexi hated about people it was there inability to ignore there desires, she threw the man out of her room once all life had left his body. She would let the vampires have him now, she locked the door as if on instinct and got changed into her fresh clothes and climbed into bed were sleep immediately took her.
