As Juniper and I finish tiding up the kitchen with the lasagna in the oven, the kitchen fills with the comforting aroma of garlic and tomatoes. We fall into easy conversation, reminiscing about the day.
“So, favorite part of the day?” I asks, leaning against the counter as I wipe my hands on a dish towel.
Juniper smiles, her eyes lighting up. “Definitely the seahorses. I’ve never seen anything like them up close. What about you?”
"Just snorkeling in general, it's calming being apart of something bigger than yourself and it is beautiful. What about the scavenger hunt, what was your favorite part of the scavenger hunt?" I ask.
Juniper tilts her head as she thinks before she answers. "Oddly enough, the crab, it was really fascinating, and you?"
