Theodore's Pov I am halfway back to the beach house, sand clinging to my damp skin, when the sound of voices catches my attention. I pause, the familiar cadence of Juniper’s voice stopping me in my tracks. She and Liam are talking by the pool, their words clear in the stillness of the evening. Curiosity roots me in place. Something about their tone, serious, almost conspiratorial, draws me in. I stay still, hidden by the shadows of the house, straining to hear. “I think Theodore is starting to put things together,” Juniper says, her voice carrying a hint of urgency. “What makes you think that?” Liam sighs, his voice calm but tinged with resignation. I hear as Juniper explains to Liam how I have been watching them closely all day, my pointed questions, and the way I keep looking at her
