Chapter 2~ Her point of view

You got to be joking I say to my Self. Wake up, Wake up. I pinch my self a couple of time hoping to wake from a night mare. when I wake up I'll be in my bed at my mom's. Nope, it's real... All of this. I tried searching for Violet throughout the crowd who was scattering like mice. How could the principal say such horrid words. I got picked to be a maid to the Valentine the guy I saw this morning. Already to what I'm assuming his girlfriend is snapping at me for nothing. I guess she's not human either I have the play smart if I want to leave.

"Welcome to hell" he said snickering with his girlfriend. We left out of the building to a dorm called Royals Only, and I did as instructed I went to my room. As I unpacked my belongings I hear a knock on my door. " oh no" I thought to myself. It was him Valentine. Tall handsome and rude. "Can you cook?" he asks irritated. "Yes" I replied. " good for now on you cook for the wolves and Witches here. Everyone here has royal blood. You are not allowed to talk to anyone unless spoken too. Oh and if your running away don't plan on it. I Will Kill You." and just like that he left slamming my door.

I learned everyone's name quickly, and what they typically eat. Me and Another girl Nora are in charge of dinner. We decide to do Taco night since it's easy and quick to prepare. After dinner I quickly ate and finished cleaning up to go take my bath. As I approach the bathroom not to my surprise kendra and Valentine are making out. I cleared my throat. "May I? " I asked " Go ahead slave" Kendra says jokingly. As I walked by she slapped my butt. "Slave has a booty." laughing at my pathetic-ness

I quickly showered I got tired of hearing her moan on purpose to piss me off. lucky me she wasn't as mean as I thought. It's more of Macy Kendra's friend I have to watch out for. She spilled milk all over her maid on purpose she to get a reaction. Marquess spots me in the hallway and quickly pulled me aside. "What's your name?" he asks me "Jade" I replied whispering. Before I knew it Valentine Yanked me into my room and locked it.

"Don't talk to him, or any other man here. You got that.You're mines, you're to obey me." he said vigorously "yes sir" I didn't want to upset him that would cost my life. "and don't call me sir" he walked towards me saying. He was so close I swear he was sniffing me. For a second I thought he was going to drink my blood almost. He kissed me on my neck and his smell of fresh rain and fall made me melt.

When he pulled away I was upset. I wanted a bit more but I know he has a girlfriend. something about him pulled me in. It's the dark and mysterious in him I want to learn more. "snap out of it, go get dressed." Carter said smiling. I don't know how long I was daydreaming or when Valentine left. "Did you read my mind?" I asked embarrassed. "Yes, and so can Val he can read minds from a longer distance though." he was always smiling at me like he knew me.

I got dressed and put on some really light makeup. I was already pretty I didn't need much. Carter was telling me there was a banquet so we can all introduce ourselves and get familiar with each other. I wore a dark green Victorian style dress which complemented my skin and eyes. I wore a low bun style fit for a queen. I wanted to look my best.
