When joe met Layla

At the night…. The night when fate was in Layla’s favour for once. Layla didn’t know that and acquaintance can become a true love. That was when she really met joe. During a drive through Christmas light show it was Covid season when Covid was flaring up that joe was chatting Layla up. Layla was not the type of Muslim who would where the hijab she was more of hipster and free spirit and wore a toque. Some thing that joe liked. She decided that that was her lucky hat. So she kept wearing not just as a hipster. But because it was giving her luck in the long run. She up liking not just liking joe that night but for the first time in her life she was happy. Why? She spent three years on the online dating curcet for along time but ended up in abusive relationship where she was lied to and cheated on and threatened. She kept going for the dating site but got nothing. She thought she found someone but that person accused her of cheating. Something she does not do. She soon learned that her true love was right under her nose. And that thing under her nose was named joe. Who also had his fate share of problems. But he presented him self as happy…. Something that got Layla’s attention. She enjoyed his company. When she got back she home she told her mother everything that happened and that she may have found someone but was taking it slowly. Her mother was so happy that she was going the old fashion route of dating and meeting any more psychopaths on online. Layla was happy to say the same to her self. That she found someone…… she found someone. That night she had a darn good nights sleep and was enjoying her life for once. Thank god the compassionate and merciful for once in her life. She the next morning didn’t know how her other friend were going to take it. So she just said that she don’t with online dating. There is someone there for everyone and that included Layla. This was her first real relationship. The one in high school with a guy named Matt was not the best fit for her. But she was an empathetic and clairvoyant she could tell that this guy wasn’t going to hurt her…… at least not intentionally. Where she was more spiritual, joe was more political in his interests and philosophy. That she did not like but accepted with all her heart. She was a designer for tattoos and was going to if she got the calligraphy set that she was going design a tattoo with joe and her name. She unlike other Muslims was not a stranger to the tattoo g*n. She had tattoos that she designed het self on her skin. And was going to be a tattoo artist and piercer. She was not your average anyone.
