Junius Diary - The Protetion Spell

P.O.V Junius

I was returning from school one day. I had been uncomfortable for a few days now like someone is looking at me, but I keep looking around and did not see anyone.

                          “There you are?” I looked around at the voice.  Saw him coming from behind a tree, he was almost skin and bone, like he was starving. I knew that his wolfless that why his body is in such bad shape, he can recover. The bruises were even worse since the last time I saw him with the woman.  “Father,” I told in a cold tone.  “You do still know who I am.” He came near me and picked up my arm. “Time to come with me.” I snatched my arm from his grip. “Why?” His face was surprised.  “You got stronger, but I am still stronger, you own me.” I snort at him.  “How do I own you? You sold me out, I am nothing to you.” I scream at him. “Don’t talk to me like that, you, human. I am still your father and you are coming with me.”

He tried to pick my arm again, but this time I pushed him on a tree. “You are not my father anymore I have a new family.” Anger was making me push him against the tree and hold him there. He indeed was weak. I just saw him looking at me, anger in his eyes.

                          “You own me for killing your mother.”I walked two steps back and looked at him confused. “Mother died of a disease, I never killed her.” He spits to the side.  “Yes, you did, you are cursed, the moment you were born your mother was cursed also. She told me everything, is your fault I don’t have a mate anymore, and that my wolf left me after I sold you out, my life as been hell, my strength started leaving me, and I could not work anymore until she caught me in the street and told me all the story.” Is not my fault.  “I am not at fault for your mistakes, you sold me.” He was holding onto the tree with one hand the other was pointing at me. “You are a curse. You will kill everyone around you.” I grabbed the arm that was pointing and got closer to him.  “Your lying.” He just looked me in the eyes, same pride was always. “You will help me because is your fault I am in this state with no wolf. I will bring you back to her, and she will make me better again.”

We heard wolves howl in the forest.

                          “s**t they got my scent. I will come back to get you. You will come if you don’t want anything happening to your family.” He shook my grip and started running. I could hear the howls now going in the direction he went, away from me. I got home that night and went straight to my room, and got a cold bath, to take away his scent from me. I never saw my dad again, after that day, but the fear of someone looking at me, stayed, and every day I sensed I was being watched. A few rogue attacks became more frequent around the pack, but as I was told, this pack was one of the best warriors.

My 16th birthday arrived in no time, tomorrow. Silvanie was preparing a big party with all my colleagues.  I was locked in my room, I did not want to eat, I was going to die tomorrow.

‘Whisper’ “I will come for you.”

Brielle P.O.V

I woke up in the middle of the night, my tattoo was glowing, I knew exactly what happened to him. He was hunted by his fears like I was in the first dream, but why, he also had a family, Silvanie and Edmund, why did he give up? Did he not have a wolf? I had questions I needed an answer to, and only one person could answer me.

‘Elder Silvanie.’ and I fainted.

P.O.V Elder Silvanie

Something is off, I can’t sleep so I came for a run, and then, I smell it, magic.

“Natasha” I tried our Elder mind-link, I know she would recognize it even in her sleep. “NATASHA.”

“Silvanie?” She was asleep.  “I sense magic coming from the house. Where is Brielle?” Her words took a few seconds to come.  “Sleeping, training ended hours ago, everyone is sleeping.” The smell got intense as I run to the Packhouse.  “Go check her out, I am already running there.”  I sense thru the mind link, she mumbles something to someone, probably Chadrick. I speed up.

P.O.V Elder Natasha

I got woken up by a mind link, Elder Silvanie sensed something and asked me to go check on Brielle, I never second guess Silvanie instincts. I tried to get out of bed, but Chadrick had his body completely around me, arm around my upper body, and legs entangled.

“Chadrick, move I need to get up.” He did not even move a muscle.  “Hmmm What? Why? Sleep, Kitten.” He did not even open his eyes. “Chadrick, I am serious. I need to go check Brielle, something is off.” That made him wake up and let me go. “What do you mean Brielle?” He was now awake and looking at me.

 “I just got a mind link from Elder Silvanie she smelled magic in the packhouse and asked me to go check on Brielle, warn the guards that she will be arriving soon also.” I was already, dressing something and running to the door. “Wait I will go with you.” I saw him getting out of bed. My eyes widen, we have been sleeping together by demand of his wolf, but his body still made me blush. I looked away. “Not the best moment to be aroused, Kitten.”

“Shut up and get that Adonis body a t-shirt.” He smirked and got shorts and a t-shirt, and we were running to Brielle's room. Once I got there, no sound. “She is asleep, there is no sound.” Elder Silvanie is never wrong.  “I will just open and bit and look inside just to be sure.”

I open the door and when I looked inside, I gasped. “Oh no.” I slammed the door open and run near Brielle. Chadrick walked behind me and just stop looking at Brielle. “What is that?” He pointed at the glow that Brielle was holding.  “Is the Diary.” He looked confused. “Diary?”

I tried to pick the diary up but got zapped to the other side of the room by it. Chadrick came running up to me. “Are you alright?” I got my hand to my head and the other was on Chadrick for support.  “Yes, just stunned a bit.”

Elder Silvanie walked inside the room, and looked shocked at Brielle, and then at me. And went running to pick the Diary up. “DON’T TOUCH IT,” I Shouted. She stops the moment she was stretching her hand. “It’s protected, we can’t touch it.”

She back off and looked at me. “Did you know that it should behave like this?” She came to the other side and gave me her shoulder also for support.  “No. Maybe she didn’t see this?” I was now with Chadrick by onde side and Silvanie by the other. “Her predictions here 100% corrects.” Chadrick then got behind me and put his arms around me. Silvanie was then free from my height.  “Only if we did exactly what she said.” Her face was of someone thinking hard trying to see if we did something wrong. “We did, what could go wrong.” We were trying to figure things out.

“Nothing, this is exactly what is supposed to happen.” Another voice came to the conversation “The only person that can see and touch the diary after the opening is her.”

We all looked behind us and saw her.  “Who do you know this?” She gave one step forward entering the room.

“Because I put that protection spell. Now only she can get out of it.”
