The Breaking Point

Mysterious things happen to our world, but what if this mystery could be the biggest thing that could cause your misery? Kathrine Malare was adopted from foster care when she was about 9 years old by Clarice Malare. Clarice did a good job by being a single independent mother to Katherine for 4 years, she helped Katherine recover from her traumatic past of being abused by her former foster families. When Katherine was 12 years old, her adoptive mother met a guy named Harry Benison along with his son Mikey Benison. She never liked the idea of having to expand the family from just the two of them to have a father figure and a younger step-brother but knew that she wouldn't be able to do anything about it since Clarice as a single woman does feel lonely and in need of love. The two got married 2 years later but Katherine wasn't being very welcoming to the father and son. Katherine would often argue or be angry at Mikey for hatred reasons, she would also often ignore Harry's kindness and just kept her distance away because of thinking that he may also take advantage of her. Throughout that year Katherine realized that it is pointless in doing so because of the two's presence inside their own household thus she slowly learned to accept them. They became the most ideal family you could ever imagine. Katherine and Mikey would still fight sometimes but that was then considered a siblings thing. They were happy.
