A LIFE BEFORE DAVON

1353 Words
“Bring the worthless Omega to satisfy me, your Alpha is getting bored,” I heard his cold voice. I stood at the threshold, my skin pale, my eyes widened in fear,my lips quivering. Sweat bidded down my temples, staining my lips. This was one of the many nights where I would be used as a s*x toy to satisfy Alpha Davon. I wanted none of this, never planned this to happen. My whole body trembled and I tried hard to steady my gasps. I shut my eyes, picturing his lust etched face. “Emma, you are up!” Klaus; Davon's beta said, dragging me out of my thoughts. My breath came in short shallow gasps, as if the air was too thick to breathe in.I swallowed hard, ready to accept what fate was kept for me in his chambers. I dragged my nearly frozen legs into the room, slowly bowing my head,my eyes fixated on the floor as if it held something which interests me. Well, we were ordered not to stare at the Alpha whenever we were in his presence, he was a handsome yet a terrifying being to behold. “Lift your worthless gaze,” he ordered. My heart sank, the beating of my heart increasing with each beat, as if threatening to break through my rib cage. My vision blurred, tears streaming down my eyes as he stood from his bed,a cruel smile playing on his lips. “My…Alpha,” I whispered, the words barely escaping my lips.He scoffed, shaking his head, his gaze piercing into my sensual skin.“That would be the name you will moan tonight,” he whispered, spreading his hands, beckoning me to come closer. My legs were like lead, too heavy to move. “I don't want to ask twice,” he mumbled, a hint of annoyance made in his voice. I summoned the little courage left in my worthless body, slowly walking over to him. I had no say. He owned me, I couldn't resist giving him the pleasure he craves. The same was applicable to other wives. Yes, you heard me clearly! I was the sixth wife of the Alpha. Insane? I moved over to him and he cradled me in his arm, my body trembling as my head leaned close to his muscular chest. I could hear the beating of his heart increase, his finger slowly pushing to my groin. I let out a little gasp as I felt him in my body, my skin pressing against his hardened cock.He paused, withdrawing his hand and slowly tilting his head. What was wrong? More like, what did I do wrong? “You don't moan until I ask you to,” he noted, his eyes scrutinizing my body.He leaned closer to me, his tongue sticking out of his lips and resting on my face as he tasted my skin. Suddenly, the door yanked open by Klaus, and I whirled in the direction of the sound. “Klaus?” he called in what I considered as a low growl.“I think we would have to halt the romance, my Lord,” Klaus said, bowing his head a little bit lower. Davon's brow furrowed, his face reddening in anger. He clenched his jaw,his blood boiling.“Why?” he asked, his cold voice breaking the silence which enveloped the air.“The elders are furious. They want to meet you, my Lord,” Klaus replied. “Well, I don't want to meet them. Reschedule the meeting,” Davon snarled.“I’m afraid I can't. They are threatening to tear down the castle if you don't show up!” Klaus announced, panic and fear laced in his voice. An unnerving silence settled in the atmosphere, Davon lost in thoughts.“Give me a few minutes,” Davon finally spoke. With a bow, Klaus walked out of the room, slowly closing the door. Davon's eyes returned to me, his once grim face getting replaced by a smile burning with lustful desire.“Get ready, it's going to be rough,” he whispered, his voice sending shivers down my spine. My gaze trailed behind him as he walked out, and my lips parted, warm breath escaping through it. I steadied my breath as he closed the door, tears rushing down my cheeks in bits. I stared at the mirror, observing my body. I looked like a mess. Puffy eyes, crimson cheeks; a result of late night tears. Staying with Davon was hell, he had this toxic aura my wolf weirdly seemed attracted to. The more I try to run away from him, the more my wolf runs back to him.I cuddled my body in a corner, drenching it with tears. If crying would solve this problem, I bet I would be out there living the best of my life. Everything would have turned different if I ran away that night, that night when everything changed. The night's air was cold, brushing against my skin as I sat under the Mahogany tree, watching the beautiful lake and waterfall. This was the only place where I enjoyed peace of mind. Away from my family's harsh judgment and the constant reminder that I was a failure and a disgrace to the pack. I had no wolf and I was just 23.Just as I was stealing myself to the moment, I felt the hairs on my skin rise. Something was wrong. Even without my wolf, I got signs on my body whenever something sinister was lurking in the dark. I sat upright, my eyes scanning the surroundings. This was the most avoided area in the woods, why the sudden feeling? Suddenly, I heard a sound, a snap of twigs under someone's heels. Another snap, this time closer than the last. I took a deep breath, walking into the direction. I could hear whispers in the dark. I should have run off like the weakling I was, but something about that sound made me more curious. I reduced my height, crawling under the bush to the source of the sound, not daring to make a sound. “Please…I beg you, let me go!” a voice begged, I squinted as I stared at the man. He was trembling, staring at a hooded figure. Blood dripped down the man's forehead, his eyes widened in fear. I clutched my lips, stifling the gasp which threatened to escape through it. “I’ll do anything…please, spare me. I have a family. A daughter!” the man begged, his voice shaking. “I’d tell them you love them. You should have thought about that before you crossed line with me,” the hooded figure whispered. Wait. The voice was a familiar one. I couldn't decipher who the person was, but I felt some sought of an air of familiarity. The hooded figure lifted the man up in the mid air, his hand pressing tightly on the man's throat. The man kicked the air, in an attempt to break free from his firm grip, but his attempt was useless. Suddenly, I heard a snap. The man's body slowly went limb. My lips quivered. How inhumane. My breathing increased, chills running down my spine, forcing goosebumps on my skin. I stepped back a little bit, my body trembling. What in the name of the Luna goddess did I witness? Suddenly, a twig snapped under my heel and I froze as the hooded figure slowly whirled in my direction and my jaw dropped at the face I beheld, my eyes widening. “Alpha Davon,” I gasped in horror, clutching my lips with my palm.A cruel smile crept across his lips as he slowly removed his hood, the moon bathing his gray short hair. My legs were heavy to move, his eyes searching the woods for any sign of life. His brow raised high, his fist clenched. He was ready to devour whoever it was that saw him commit the crime. Every part of my body screamed that I should run far away into the woods, away from him. “I can smell you,” he hissed, his voice cold and dark.
