Section 4: Deserted *************** "Chief Goodness, when is the offering occurring?" She was brought back to the main point by a question from the audience. "Nearly three days. " Gradually quieting her strained nerves by delivering full breaths, she proceeded to give them understanding with respect to the data they expected to set up a proposition. All of a sudden, the task supervisor strolled in through the entryways, bowing his head somewhat to apologize for the delay prior to going to take one of the seats in the front rolls. "As I mentioned earlier, we have fewer than 24 hours to complete the proposal and send it to President Kim. The new project from J Group is a skyscraper hotel with fifty floors that will be in G city, a pricey area. Over there, labor would be expensive. Be that as it may, their primary interest lies in the nature of our proposition and a sensible spending plan to back it up." She asked the project manager, "Project manager, at the end of this meeting, I would like you to give us the budget for this project, which includes the cost of labor, cost of raw materials, our fee plus the profit, and the shortest time it would take us to finish it," and as she looked at the manager, she already knew the answer. "Chief goodness, J Gathering gave no breaking point for their financial plan?" Somebody in the crowd inquired. Someone else answered in Ji-Soo's stead. "When they are attempting every means in their power to attract attention for themselves, how can they do that?" The number of architectural firms joining the bi would have decreased if J Group had provided a range for the budget. Since they had an enormous task which they could use to draw in the best organizations all through the country, they chose to make use and turn them into contenders among themselves. They would be like a honey smear that attracts the ants by sticking to their plans. Everyone would pay more attention to them and be more interested in investing in them the more noise there was made about them. That was their objective. During the meeting, Ji-Soo provided them with additional information about the skyscraper's design and other crucial tidbits to keep in mind. the high-end finishes, the square footage, the kind of architecture needed, and the characteristics of the site. Oh Ji-Soo answered all of the questions from the staff members who would be working on the project together. When the discussion came to an end, Ji-Soo turned to the "Project Manager." The older man carried on with his part of the job following the lead. "The building would be finished in two years if we divided projects into model sections. With respect to the spending plan, we would require from $30OM." Discussing it, goodness Ji-Soo finished up the gathering. "I need all of the department heads in this room to come together and work on this proposal with your teams. Before 5 p.m., the final result must be submitted. Other than this, accept no other work today. Ji-Soo was just beginning, but she was already exhausted as she made her way back to her office. A two-minute break was impossible given the amount of work they had to do. She took it upon herself to work between two locations to ensure that she would not have much to redo after the project manager presented her with the proposal. She went down to the 20th floor, carrying some of her belongings, where a working station had been set up for her to sit at and collaborate with them. The project manager and the other department heads who report to him also moved out of their offices to join the other people in the big office. Ji-Soo eventually returned to her desk after leaving her desk to check on the ongoing work. She did this a lot over time, giving advice, making some corrections, and answering her boss's phone calls in between. He called her private line more than twice after failing to reach her through her office's landline, as if Kim Ju-hun hadn't given her enough work. Ji-Soo was finally able to take a breath of fresh air after swallowing the insults the first time he called, accusing her of leaving him hanging. He gave her some notes for the building plan the second time. She secretly wished to him that he would stop bothering her. By 5 pm, the work was as yet not done, just two offices were finished with their own parts thus, they were permitted to leave. More employees started to leave after an additional hour, but Ji-Soo stayed at her desk to review the documents that had been given to her. However, a need to speak with President Kim prompted her to leave for her office a few minutes later. Getting the landline, she set a call up with his office however after a few rings, nobody replied. She called his personal assistant's landline out of desperation, and the call was promptly returned. "Ms. Helen, I've tried calling President Kim, but no one has responded," The woman had a light chuckle at the other end. President Kim timed off work an hour prior and I was going to do likewise before your call came in. Is there anything wrong?" "What!' Oh, Ji-Soo was speechless when she learned that the man who had been interfering with her life from the beginning had stopped working. "No, all is well. Goodbye." Getting off the telephone with Ms. Helen, she hammered the phone on its holder. "I thought his office was his living and agonizing space?" Murmuring to herself, she left her office and got back to the twentieth floor in rage. Oh Ji-Soo was close to going mad. She was unable to accept that supervisor was this shrewd. Subsequent to giving her this large work, he deserted them and resigned for the afternoon without saying anything. He also anticipated that the proposal would magically appear before him tomorrow. What an arrogant boss! Continue reading... Until then, bye! See you in the next section.
