********************
-AM Clinical Center S City
In the huge lobby of the celebrity part of truly outstanding and biggest emergency clinics in
S City, Kim Ji-hun strolled at a high speed, eruptinga sound because of the
striking of his shoes on the tiles.
His gaze remained fixed on a specific location as he proceeded, half of his face covered by a black nose mask, until he came to a stop in front of a door marked "VIP 1."
Evidently, he had found his direction to the celebrity ward in the medical clinic with next to no hitch while searching for somebody.
His long lashes fluttered shut as he took a deep breath. Three seconds later, he opened his eyes and raised his fist to softly pound on the door before pushing it open.
He shut the door behind him as he entered the quiet room, looking too opulent for a patient. He then looked to his right to briefly take in the setting of the sitting room.
There was a white two-seater sofa facing the black 44-inch television that was hung on the wall, a transparent round table in the middle of the room, two tall vases that stood next to the thickly drawn curtains, three expensive paintings that were hanging on the walls, and a few pieces of art that were placed close to the television.
"You're here, son." A sweet female voice called out in shock, procuring a head abandon Kim Ji-hun.
He took off his nose mask and made his way over to the Queen-sized bed where the hospital-clad woman was sitting.
"Mum," he called out, recognizing her reality. " What's happening with you here?"
"Mightn't you at any point see, I'm hospitalized." She said, pointing to her body with a small smile that she couldn't hide in the corner of her mouth, and his keen eyes immediately noticed it.
"Hospitalized?
Kim Ji-hun was unable to discern any signs of illness when he focused on her red-painted toes, crossed over one another, and neatly arranged black hair.
Was it once thought that being admitted to the hospital meant only getting a bed and dressing in a hospital gown?
What befell the part about being hospitalized because of an ailment?
Kim Ji-hun closed his eyes as he realized that he had not even seen the basic drip stand as he looked around the room. He has been hoodwinked.
Because of a forged certificate, did he abandon an important pile of work in order to rush to the hospital?
Lord have mercy on him!
"For what reason is your face bent as such?" As she squinted at him, Choi Chae-Yeon asked.
She was by all accounts uninformed that she was the sole explanation her child appeared as though he had a great deal happening with him.
"Mum, do you know that I don't have time for your petty antics?" I asked.
Kim Ji-hun went above and beyond to demonstrate his innocence.
"I have told you multiple times not to contact me unless there is an urgent matter" "Isn't this an urgent matter? I haven't seen you in four weeks and this is the only way I could get you to show up." How terrible is that?"
Clearly, she saw nothing off about the trick she pulled as long as she accomplished her objective.
"Assuming you wish to see my face, there are loads of my photos at home," he said,
giving her a choice, she likely neglected to enroll in her mind.
Choi Chae-Yeon hurriedly adjusted her sitting position rather than taking the correction because she was not about to forget the main point of the whole reason she had to act out a drama just for him to show up.
"Where have you been sleeping for the past four weeks, i-hun? Wait!"
She had just begun when, taking a deep breath, her eyes suddenly widened in shock.
"What?
Right now, Kim Ji-hun looked unbiased in anything surmises she was attempting to make in her mind.
His cold gaze was caused by the frown on his exquisite, well-made, attractive face.
"Don't tell me vou have been sleeping on that couch in your office for several nights in a row?" Choi Chae-Yeon asked, flashing a surprising glint across her eyes, as she frowned slightly while counting something with her fingers.
On the off chance that that was the situation, her unfortunate child probably been exhausting himself.
With that idea, she looked through his face to check whether she would find eyebags under
his eyes or even dark circles.
Hearing what she needed to say finally, Kim Ji-hun instructed without a shred regarding a
favor his face.
When he was already very busy with work, his mother's immature tricks made him clearly unhappy.
"Don't use this kind of trick again next time, or I'll leave you. Additionally, I am very busy right now. If you don't call, you'll be doing me a lot of good."
He said that up to this point, he looked at a few things in the room before turning his attention once more to her.
"I'm leaving."
Choi Chae Yeon asked quickly as her tone softened, revealing the loneliness in her broad shoulders, which were concealed by a sky-blue shirt.
"Are you going to leave me now, just like your father?"
Kim Ji-hun's steps stopped right away.
Halting briefly as he delivered a long murmur, his look solidified the following
second as his jaw fixed.
"You should have called him rather than me if you came here just to get some pity from him."
He spoke coldly and without any emotion.
He seemed to have changed from a son who was initially slightly enraged with his mother to one who didn't want to be in the same space as her for even a second longer after hearing that statement from her.
What was he taking off from?
He added without turning his face toward her and reattached the nose mask to his face, letting out another long sigh as he gathered his thoughts.
"If there is no reason, go home; after all, your home is more comfortable than here," Kim Ji-hun said, keeping his eye on the road ahead. He gave the impression of having lost interest in her and spared her one last glance before completely disappearing from her view.
Choi Chae-Yeon closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she placed her hand on her chest a few seconds later.
Having a son like that was extremely challenging for her at times.
Kim Ji-hun drove straight to the underground parking lot after exiting the VIP room and never slowed down.
Removing his nose veil, he covered his brow with the rear of his hand as his eves shut simultaneously.
"To the workplace," he shared with the driver and very quickly, the motor
came on and quickly, the vehicle drove away from the parking garage and hit the street.
