Amora
Muffled voices and scuffling feet woke me up. Hearing unfamiliar people outside made me uneasy and quickly washed away my grogginess. Jumping out of bed, I crept to the kitchen window and peeked through the curtains. Across the driveway, I saw Azriel and a sizable group of people trickling into a haphazard line in front of him. I sighed in relief, it was just a training session. Although Azriel had assured me I was safe here, the distrust for this pack ran deep. I was about to go back to bed when someone I didn’t recognize caught my eye. He was standing next to Azriel, who by no means was short, and dwarfed him. Not just in height but in sheer body mass. I would guess Azriel to be about 6’2”, but this monster of a shifter had to be at least 6’6” with broad shoulders and chest that tapered down to a slender waist. The longer I analyzed him, the more my wolf stirred inside me. She was getting excited and restless.
I managed to peel myself away from the window, which was strangely harder than it should have been. I layed back down in bed and tried to go back to sleep, but my mind kept wandering back to the massive shifter. My wolf kept whining at me, begging me to go to him, but I hushed her, confused by her obsession with him. After she finally settled I was able to drift back to sleep, only to be woken up by a sudden commotion outside. Back at the window, I saw who I thought I recognised as Garrett squaring off with the large man. I could only imagine what Garrett had done or said to get himself into that situation. It was over in seconds, brought to his knees like it was nothing. I suddenly realized that this large man was the Alpha. I continued to observe as everyone began to leave, but quickly ducked out of the window when the Alpha’s gaze turned to the guest house.
After getting some coffee, I texted Azriel, asking him when he would be free. I had just settled into a big cushioned lounge chair with my book and coffee when there was a knock on the door. My heart stopped. A few moments of silence and they knocked again. My mind was racing, anxious that it was the Alpha, finally coming to meet me. I wasn’t ready, not that I ever would be. I didn’t dare move, hoping they would just go away.
My cell phone rang as my heart leaped into my throat. It was Azriel calling me.
“Hello?” I answered.
“You home? I’ve been knocking.”
“Oh!” I said, suddenly feeling stupid and jumping up to go to the door.
“Hey!” I greeted him, “sorry about that, I was really into my book.”
“No worries,” he smiled.
“So, what’s on the agenda today?” I asked.
“Whatever you want,” he said, his voice almost soultry and I felt my cheeks start to burn.
“I’m open to anything,” I said shyly. He eyed me, looking me up and down, making my blush grow brighter. There was a short pause before he replied.
“Follow me,” and he grabbed my hand and led to my Jeep and got into the driver's seat.
“Um, excuse me? What are you doing?” I asked, confused.
“I’m going to show you around the Cape!” He grinned, “Hand me the keys.” I hesitated before getting into the passenger seat and handed him the keys.
“And why can’t we take your car?” I asked suspiciously.
“I like yours better,” he winked at me and turned the key, bringing the engine to life. As we started down the long driveway, I gazed out the window, feeling awkward being the passenger in my own car. A sudden warm pressure on my leg shook me out of my thoughts and looked down to see Azriel’s hand resting on my knee. The blush from a few moments ago returned and I sheepishly rested my hand over his. He squeezed my leg in approval and I smiled.
Our first stop was a cute little cafe where he treated me to breakfast. Everyone seemed to know him there and I caught myself getting jealous when our female server would flirt with Azriel. He would make a point to hold my hand whenever she came around, but that didn’t seem to faze her. After breakfast, we walked around the downtown area, bobbing and weaving through all the people occupying the sidewalks. The town had so many shops and restaurants it was hard to pick where I wanted to go. There was pottery, boutiques, jewelry, bakeries, and coffee shops. I wanted to see them all.
I decided on stopping for coffee first, then visited the pottery store where I oohed and ahhed over all the beautiful mugs, plates and vases. I picked out a mug with the Eclipse insignia on it as a souvenir and we moved on to the next store. At the jewelry store a gorgeous wolf pendant with moonstone accents caught my eye, but it was much more than I was willing to pay for a necklace. We went to a few more shops before Azriel took me to a quiet little public beach on the other side of town where he got us lunch at the snack shack that was there. As unassuming as the little run-down shack was, the food was really good.
We stayed at the beach for a while talking. At first just sitting and chatting, but ended up walking along the water hand in hand. Hours went by without either of us noticing until the sky started to turn orange over the water and we decided it was time to go back to the packhouse. Our hands remained intertwined the whole ride back until we found ourselves in the same position as the night before. Eyes still locked on each other, Azriel dug into his pocket and pulled out the wolf pendant I had loved back in town.
“It’s too much Azriel, I can’t accept that!” I protested.
“You loved it so much I had to,” he smiled at me as he gently put it around my neck. I looked down at it and it was even more beautiful than I remembered.
“Thank you,” I whispered and hugged him. The hug must have caught him off guard because he froze before wrapping his long arms around me. We stayed there a moment before he pulled away and I looked up into his dark brown eyes again. Slowly he leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine. I was hesitant at first but found myself kissing him back. My arms snaked up around his neck and I felt arms tightening around my waist.
I felt his tongue glide over my bottom lip and I parted them, granting him access. Our lips and tongues danced as we pressed our bodies together. I was too engrossed in the taste of his lips that I didn’t notice he had opened the door and pulled us inside the guest house. His hands slid down the small of my back and stopped on my ass, giving it a squeeze. Leaving my mouth, his lips peppered kisses down to my collarbone and I tangled my fingers in his dark kinky curls. He pushed my back onto the bed and he was instantly on top of me with his hand slowly sliding up my shirt. Soft fingers found my erect buds and gently rubbed them, forcing a soft moan out of me. His lips found mine again before quick hands were pulling my shirt up over my head. I pulled his shirt off as well exposing dark defined abs, and ran my hands over his stomach.
Azriel locked his lips around my nip and brought up a knee to press against my s*x. Instinctively, I started grinding against his leg and moaned, desperate for more contact. Long fingers snaked down into my leggings and slipped past the hem of my panties before coming to a stop at my slit. A desperate whine escaped me as I bucked my hips, begging him for more. Azriel softly rubbed at my now wet slit before parting my folds and brushed a finger over my clit. I gasped at the sudden sensation and arched my back. The sound of a zipper shocked me. Looking down between us I saw Azriel undoing his jeans. I reached down and cupped my hand over his member through his boxers, eliciting a groan out of Azriel. Increasing pressure and adding motion seemed to spur him on and he slid a finger into my entrance. Just a slight flex of a finger had me melting into him as he rubbed the little bundle of nerves inside me. When he added a second finger was torture, I needed more, and pulled his length out from his boxers and wrapped my fingers around it. His hips started bucking into my hand and I thought I was going to lose my mind, I needed him inside me.
“More,” I pleaded.
“Yeah? You want me,” he purred into my ear, sending shivers all over my body.
“Please,” I begged and he stood up on his knees to take his pants the rest of the way off. The way he looked down at me hungrily turned me on even more and went to take my own pants off too but he stopped me.
“Wait…” and he grabbed my wrist.
“What?” I asked, confused and became worried when I noticed the look of horror on his face.
“What?” I asked again, getting scared.
“s**t!” Azriel yelled before the door to the guest house flew open with a loud bang. We both froze when we saw the Alpha storming in, seething with pure rage.
“Azriel!” He boomed and when his eyes landed on me something inside him snapped. Rage had bloomed into pure fury, his eyes glossed over in darkness.
“MINE!” and the huge Alpha lunged toward Azriel, a huge hand wrapped around his throat in an instant. I grabbed a blanket and quickly covered myself and watched in shock and horror as these two large shifters erupted into their wolf forms.
