Chapter 7

**Braydon’s POV**

My head has been in a tail spin since getting off the phone call from Ed. I already made calls and are having some trusted allies start looking into this attack. My parents are on the way back from a trip to Montana to see an old friend of theirs. Making the phone call to my mother that her baby sister and her whole pack had been obliterated. Once I was finally able to tell her that Ed, Rae, and Meg were able to escape and would be here tomorrow evening she set the phone down and it went silent. “ Hey kid I already called the pilot moms already started packing we will be on the jet in hour. Wake up Sand and have her pick some omegas and start getting rooms ready. Make sure they can be trusted there is to much unknown at the moment. Love you text you when we take off.” I’ve decided to put all three of them on my floor for now and let them decide what they want to do living wise after some time to settle in a bit.

After I take a few more minutes to breathe Sand comes in the door. Rubbing her eyes mumbling to her self lowly and stops in front of my desk. Sand has never been ease to get up she’s an extremely deep sleeper. Sand is my Gamma don’t let her fool you she may be tiny but she is lethal. H***, most Alphas don’t dare go against her. “ Hey open your eyes I need you to snap out of it. My cousin Eduardo’s pack just got wiped out. He and the other two ranked kids got out and will be here tomorrow. While I finish getting stuff arranged for investigation and talk to the elder I need you to start preparing my floor. All three will stay with me in the extra rooms get 3 omegas that you trust and start. Notify the head warrior they will be here around 3pm. Have him added extra guards and be on alert. I will also pick some extra guards. Wake my sister and send her to me to as well. Coffee is being made and brought to you shower and get started!” I look as Sand just sitting there with her jaw hanging open I move my head and shut it for her. She shakes her head and collects her self. “Yes Alpha! The alpha and gamma both have daughter right?” She asks she nods and leaves the room quickly and disappears. I’m stunned I expected a lot more questions and some blow back for having her get my floor ready and not go out to investigate. Sand knows Ed though always had a crush on him and as kids played with Rae a lot. She will try and go out after they get here tomorrow to jump in the investigation. She won’t be happy when I make her stay but we are about to be at war. I will need both her and Dylan here to help Ed and the girls.

I’m sitting in my office chair ready to lose my mind. I’ve been trying to get ahold of an elder and keep getting the around and I’ve had it. Luckily I have one in my pack and since he won’t answer my mind links or calls he’s going to get a rude awakening. I like Sand and he’ll her where I’m head and tell the two warrior outside my office to come with me. We run down hall to the elevators and go down to the first floor. I bust through the pack house door and take off to Elder Dean’s house. I get to the door and kick it in as I look behind me I see the warrior and 50 yards away. As I make my way up the stairs Elder Dean emerges red in the face ready to let me have it. Before he gets a word out I start to explain what heads happened half way through he motions me to follow and continue to talk. He starts getting dressed and walking down the stairs as I finish. “ I want to make it clear even though I understand why you burst into my home you do this again and you won’t be an Alpha anymore you PUP! Get someone here now to start repairs before my mate gets here tomorrow!” Elder Deans steps over the door and makes his way to his office in the pack house. I mind like one of my construction guys to come fix the house I made a mess of and start to jog my way back to the office. I slow down as I hear my phone ring only to see Dylan’s name flashing on the screen. I hit the call button and bring the phone to my ear.

Brayden: Dylan have you made it to Dallas yet? Have you gotten to them yet?

Dylan: Yes we got here and we should have them with us soon they are about ten minutes out. On the way here I got a whole floor blocked off for us at the hotel for supes here. I plan on heading out at 10 am and should be there by 3 maybe earlier.

Brayden: Okay keep me updated and call me before bed tonight. There will stay on my floor and Sand is preparing it with some omegas now. Make sure they eat spend what ever you have the card out it all on there.

Dylan: Your got it B. How hey they just pulled up I gotta go.

He trails off as if distracted and then started coughing.

Brayden: Dylan wtf is going in you good.

Dylan: Dude, I know it’s been along time if I wouldn’t have known who she was I wouldn’t have recognized her. B, Rae has grown up quite well like bro she’s really hot. Well bye dude. I gotta enjoy this before she sees you again!!

All of a sudden I hear the line click and just stare at the screen. May just hang open in disbelief he really just hung up on me. I knew he always thought Rae was cute when she was here but never expected that. He seemed surprised Rae would have grown up in to a beautiful woman. I don’t know why it should be a shock I always knew she would make men fall at her knees. Even as kids I would have done it if I wasn’t such an i***t back then.
