Joining Black Moon

Chapter 10

After some slight arguing and mumbled words under her breath Meagan finally gives up trying to get me to try on some of the dresses she picked. I step in the dressing room and slowly get undressed and slip on my dress for the night. It’s a spaghetti strap dress slim fit emerald green dress with a slit up the leg. I feel like I look amazing and it gives me a little boost that I need. I hear Meagan call out to me to show her my dress a I just roll my eyes. I open the door and step out Meagan just whistles at me. She’s standing there in a dark purple dress with see through sleeves that attach to that sit half way down her arms and attached to the sides of the dress it has a long flowy skirt. I see the boys start to approach us Dylan looks like a dead in the head lights looking at the two of us. Once they make it to us Dylan tells us the we look beautiful and the dresses are perfect for tonight. I see hangers bags for the suits the got in hand. “Alright boys we just need to get shoes and stop by for some make up things and we can get going.” Go and slip out of the dress and we head to the shoe area. I immediately dart to a pair of heels I absolutely adore. I have them back at home they are platform based with a stiletto heel. Black suede and gun metal gray spikes coming off of them. I ask for a size 9 and go get shoes for Ed. Once Meagan has picked out we head to check out and head for Ulta. The guys head with our bags to go get the vehicles so they can pull up and we can hop in. We quickly grab our favorite make up removers some lashes and some extra little things pay out and head for the truck. Ed hops out and get in the passenger seat so I can drive. As we drive to the pack house I look around at how beautiful Black Moon is. All the houses are made of white and gray stone with wrap around porches, the stores are in the same stone with beautiful pillars, the tress and flowers all around are full of life. It looks so peaceful even knowing how big the pack is it seems so quaint.

We start to pull up to the pack house and I look and see we are all just as stunned. I looks the same but they added to it length and height wise they only building done in black and gray stone. It was mesmerizing to look at the wrap around porch lined with peony’s and pouch swings. Just as I’m slowing to a stop I see the door open and out comes Daphne at full speed to the truck. We all quickly jump out and go to her. She has all three of us wrapped in her arms and kiss each of us in the head. We stay there a few minutes just holding on to Daphne letting all the tension just leave our bodies. We’ll pull away as we hear a someone clear their throat. I look around Daphne to see Brayden standing there looking a little guilty for interrupting our little pow wow.

I try to open my mouth to say something but nothing comes out Brayden gives Ed hug and say a few words quietly. He then introduces him self to Meagan and gives her a hug too. I’m still dazed at the sight of him. his shaggy chocolate brown hair that’s slightly wavy, his green eyes look like emeralds in the sun, he’s gotten so tall I have to look up just to see give face, tattoo on his arms and neck are so detailed and beautiful, and then I see his eyes meet mine. How can he have me be such an i***t at first sight Godesss help me please! He makes his way to me and pulls me into a big hug that lifts me off the around. I don’t know what I was expecting meeting him but this was not it. I won’t complain though I finally put my arms around his neck and hug him back. “ Hey little Rae it’s good to see you again I’m sorry this what brought you back here but I’m glad yall came here. I based a lot of what I wanted to do more as an Alpha off your dad he was a great man.” He slowly starts to set me on the ground I look at him I can feel tears forming I take a deep breathe to collect my self. “ Alpha Brayden thank you for letting us take refuge and join Black Moon. I don’t know what we would have done with out your packs help. My dad was the best if you took tips from him and your dad I can see why Black Moon is flourishing. Also it’s Rae or Raelynn I’m not little anymore got it?” With that last statement I raise and eyebrow at him and walk to his dad Wes to greet him. I hear Brayden mumble under his breathe but can’t make it out. Wes wraps me in a hug and tells us all to head inside and he would have some omegas unload stuff in are rooms while we all go talk in the office. As we are about to be out the elevator I hear footsteps thundering towards us and as I turn I’m slammed to the ground. I groan at the impact and see Sand has tackled me into a hug. This was a burst of nostalgia as I just start to laugh at her. When we came here as kids we had a game where we would sneak around and jump attack eachother. I don’t think she mean it cause she definitely wasn’t quite making her way here but here we are on the floor just like when we were little.
