Chapter 13

As Brayden goes to sit back down I cross my arms and go back to where I originally was. Everyone is getting back up with their heads handing looking down at the ground. I roll my eyes and just stare down Brayden.

B: Now that everyone is settled down now I can finish what I was saying. We don’t have any leads on who did it but we did find a lot of evidence that will hopefully to them. Unfortunately there is nothing left of your pack everything we burned to the ground we did find a safe that is being brought here for y’all. As for your parents… we did find them and they were given a proper burial. I can tell yall more later on the specifics after tonight. We can also bring yall to where they are and hold a funeral once we know it’s safe.

R: Just tell us about our parents please don’t wait and tell us later just cause you don’t want us sad at dinner. We are already sad and upset holding off is just gunna make it worse. So please just tell us.

I see him sigh and lower his head pinch the bridge of his nose with his fingers. As he looks me in the eye I can see he really doesn’t want to tell us. His eyes are full of despair and pitty.

B: If you insist I will tell yall although I wish yall would late till later. The people that took out your pack after they burnt down everything took y’all’s parents by thier hands and feet and strung them up across the front gate of the pack.

I’m shaking in rage my fist are clinched and I can feel my aura slipping. I see Meagan try to reach out but I swat her hand away and shook my head. Tears filling up in my eyes from anger frustration and grief. I feel like I’m vibrating I’m shaking to hard. Brayden slowly gets up and try’s to step towards me and I can start the tears start to fall. Before he can make it around his desk I turn away and head for the office door and walk out. I head to the left and go in to my room slam the door and slowly slide down it. Letting every last tear run down my face banging my head against the door. After awhile I get up and go to curl in bed when I see the patio. I open then glass door sit in the little chair and just stare out at the forest finally going numb.

I’ve been staring blankly out in the forest for awhile now when I hear light knock on the door. Look over and see Meagan, Sand, and Daphne as the door come open. I get up and go hug Meagan I felt bad for the way I swatted her away. “ Rae my love it’s time to start getting ready I figured we could do it all together. Unless you rather get ready by yourself dear?” Aunt Daphne says as she cups my face. “ Which room will we be using? Cause we can get ready in here?” I say trying to lighten the mood. “ Well my dear since you actually have the biggest bathroom on the floor besides Brayden’s I was gunna suggest that” The evil giggle she lets out at the end makes me smile. Daphne calls and omega over are tells her to bring up the good stuff. Last time heard her say that he my mom and Ed’s mom all passed out in the yard. As I start to roll my hair into big curlers I see the omega comes back with a cart. “ Alright lady’s pick your poison or let me do it? The Choice is yours!” Daphne throws her hands in the air dramatically.

All three of told her to do her worst. She hand us all a glass and I take a big sip. All three of us start coughing and we all head Daphne start laughing. I now know why we found them in the yard that fourth of July. It taste like she put half a bottle of vodka in here. I take a few more sips as I do my make up and it starts to go down easier. I put in my heels and Meagan is corseting up the back of my dress while I take the rollers out of my hair. After shaking out my hair and running my fingers through it I got step in from of the mirror. I let my long Sandy blonde hair cascade down my back, I did a deep Smokey eye that makes my green eyes pop even more then the do with the emerald green of my dress, and my lips are done in an almost matte maroon lip stick. The dress hugs me and all the right place, and make me boobs look amazing. I walk out to see everyone else looking amazing. Meagan curled he long red hair that just looks more vibrant against her dead people dress. Daphne just looks down right regal in her sliver floor length slim dress and hair pinned up. Sand looks like a sexy Bond girl in her red dress. She about to walk Ed around like a dog tonight following her around with his tongue out. “ Alright my darlings we have about 5 minutes so do any final touch ups you need I’ll pour us a shot and we will all go down stairs!” Daphne turns and starts to pour shots as we do one more look over. We all grab a glass from here and gather together. “ To the ones we lost me love and cherish you. Here’s to getting the F****rs who did this. And here to us for being strong and moving forward!” Our glass clink together and shoot the whiskey after Daphnes cheers and head to the elevator. Once the doors open we walk out and head for the meeting hall. The only one place in the pack that can hold everyone for this apparently Brayden had it built a few years ago for celebrations and pack meetings. I look around as we pass through the doors into the meeting hall. There are load of tables with little lanterns sitting on them, string lights line the ceiling, and everything is decorated in the pack color of dark green black and silver. I’m can’t believe that they got all this done so fast.
