Trevor Donovan was possibly the most intransigent suspect Ross had ever interrogated in his career. By the time Ross and Drake arrived back at headquarters, Donovan had already lawyered up. The custody sergeant, Pat Newman had informed Ross of Donovan's request for legal representation as soon as Ross requested that the man be brought to Interview Room One. With no lawyer of his own, Newman had arranged for legal representation for their prisoner from the pool of on-call duty solicitors.
