[Violet’s POV]
For the rest of the day I focus on preparing new scents to go with the switching season, and when I finish with that, I head home. Once I’m showered and changed, I pull out my phone and feel a pang of disappointment when I don’t find anything waiting for me from Lance, but I mean, should I even be surprised?
However, I do have some messages, and those make me smile a bit, especially when I open them and see what they say.
Chandler: I’m back at our bar, but it doesn’t feel the same without you.
Chandler: I hope that you didn’t work too long. Remember to always take care of your health.
Smiling, I feel a little bit of pleasantness over the fact he is looking out for me, but still I can’t bring myself to be completely happy.
