It was a Saturday in my hometown of Manchester, England, it has been 3 years since my parents were murdered and I was sitting in my apartment listening to the radio when there was a knock on my door. I stood up and walked briskly to the door, unlocked it, and opened it up. There stood right in front of me was my best mate William, Will for short, I told him to come in and he asked if I wanted to go down to the pub down the road and I agreed. We were walking down the street towards the pub and entered it. Tom, the owner of the pub, welcomed us when we walked in. Tom is like an uncle figure in my life, even though we are not related by blood, he took care of me after my parents died. Will and I walk up to the bar, sit down and we each order a beer. While Tom got us our drinks Will and I were talking about my parents’ case because Will and his partner, Mary, think they found a lead. After the case went cold I thought it was hopeless to be able to find my parents’ murderer.
